Do we know why Cranny didn’t run? Hopefully not injured?
Cranny just entered a few other races this month so she doesn't appear to be injured.

These were sticker bibs. 🤷🏼♀️
I feel like I was duped into paying the $6.99 fee to watch. Most of the top runners DNS. Dmato ran a long run at home yesterday.
I don't know why the online commentator mentioned a timing chip on her bib after her stick-on bib fell off. She dropped out soon after that.
Liked it, to see a glimpse of Sifan running in the dark. Also like to support athletics especially track!
The commercial communication and Track Fest website, to sell the tickets gave me teh impression the coverage would be pretty pro. It wasn't. Bummer, esp. when you have to get up 5 AM to see them running in the dark plus corny comments.
Loved the coverage, nice work!

The state of pro runners signing up for a race is like high schoolers committing to a party.
Seeing Jager over the hill is a real jolt to the system. I started following him when he was in High School. Dudes, I feel ollllldddd. My Dad said when Ozzie Smith retired he would know he was over the hill himself. Its Jager for me.
I see that Christina Aragon finally beat the 1500m PR that she set way back in 2016 to finish 3rd in the world juniors (4:07 yesterday, previous PR 4:08).
It's great to see persistence rewarded.

The other runners seemed to manage keeping them on.

If Cranny was in the race to keep Hassan company, they would have run under 14:50. It’s a perfect night and Hassan would have been a perfect pacer.
Would she? I've never known her to run out front when she has competition.

Yes!!
"Teen" was a human biology (i.e., pre-med) major at Stanford, arguably the most difficult undergraduate curriculum possible for a college athlete. Multiple Academic AA. Took her 6 years to get her degree.
Frankly, thought she would go directly to med school, thus ending her athletic career.
Now, nearly two years into her pro career w/BTC, this is the first hint her running is finally back on the rails.
Interesting, though, she doesn't do altitude training with the team. Maybe that will now change.
We'll see her again Friday night at the LA Grand Prix Distance Carnival.
Casey Clinger you are almost 26 years old. No way you should still have ncaa eligibility

Why? What does being 26 have to do with anything? If you have eligibility left then run.
