If OUR WORLD CHAMPION was a narcissistic, drug-cheating POS, would she settle down with the non-superstar sweetheart of her young life in her hometown, or chase opportunities in Hollywood and Insta fame, like other non-factor athletes we could mention?
A lot here are missing the point. It’s championship racing. Stop getting so hung up on times and time equivalents. It’s about racing, and she put on a masterclass on how to win a race.
Let me correct you here. For ESP this was a perfectly paced race. So she will likely never run faster. She was paced the entire way. Strange that you’re not able to recognize this. So for ESP it was a perfect set up to run as fast as she can.

Let me correct YOU here. For ESP this was a perfectly executed race to win. Strange that you are not able to recognize that in championship racing it’s about strategy and winning, yet you keep focusing on time.

Again you cannot seem to grasp that it can be both. Wow…

Of course it can be both, the clock is still ticking. But in championship racing one matters, and one doesn’t.
Your focus on her being “paced” is taking away from her brilliantly executed race strategy whether you mean it or not.
Who cares if she ever runs faster or not? Her future performance carries no weight to the meaning of this performance for what is was. Who cares if there is others that are faster, whether they were in the race or not. it’s completely irrelevant. I wouldn’t even doubt if ESP herself says that Tsegay is faster than her. It doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is winning. Winning.
Any post discussing anything about times, faster people, that she “paced” the race, anything at all other than her brilliant execution is minimizing what she did and making it seem like it wasn’t as remarkable as it was.

Very excited that she is back better than ever after giving birth. she had even more in the tank given her last lap and how fresh she looked at the end. She was chopping her stride until the last two laps. She has such great biomechanics with virtually no side to side motion. she clearly finds 14:30 5K pace easy (chopping stride). Anxious to see what she chooses to do in Paris. one last thought, the great running shown by Moms such as Faith and herself makes you wonder if giving birth helps makes them faster.
First of all, most of you don't even know what that means. As like many working mothers, she pumps/expresses and freezes it for when she is away, which easily gives her the opportunity to dose when she needs to and pump/express when it's out of her system. Breastfeeding does not mean the baby is always, or even ever, getting milk directly from the breast, bottle feeding a baby expressed milk is still nursing/breastfeeding and that is exactly what she does. She ran Millrose and USATF Indoor and hubby and baby were not there, yet miraculously the baby didn't starve. OMG, It's a miracle!
