Let’s flip this thing around. Say the Dems had a guy named Tyrone Washington with the exact same LONG list of charges, accusations and civil judgments as Bone Spurs and he was running for POTUS……..do you REALLY think the RepubliKlans wouldn’t fight to disqualify him?
Democrats have done absolutely nothing for African-Americans yet you mindlessly vote for them because you're told to.
Quick history lesson:
In the 50s & 60s, black people had a grassroots Civil Rights Movement. The objective being to petition that white people stop mistreating them at every chance they get.
Of course, a the movement needed more support.
Black people asked Republican leaders to sign some civil covenants into law. They flat out said, no.
Black people asked Democrat leaders to sign some civil covenants into law. They said yes - we think black people deserve to be treated civilly.
Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Right Act of 1964. In the next election, he was up against a Trump-like white nationalist. He won by a landslide.
Ever since white people declined black support, blacks have voted Democrat.
Don't bother. If you're confused about that you won't get anything else.
You are always belittling others for minor spelling mistakes, and you insult their intelligence.
Now, you don't know how to write the plural of numbers, I am just pointing out how stupid and what a hypocrite you are.
I get much more than you do, you narcissistic moron.
You are a pedant. And you are wrong. The use of apostrophes in numbers such as dates is a convention that depends on whether you are writing for a British or American audience.
From the University of Sussex:-
In British usage, we do not use an apostrophe in pluralizing dates: This research was carried out in the 1970s.
American usage, however, does put an apostrophe here: (A) This research was carried out in the 1970's.
The GOP has only won the popular vote at 1 presidential election in the last 36 years
And that election (2004) was under the unique circumstances post 911
36 years would include 1988 and the GoP won the popular vote in 1988.
There's been 9 elections in the last 36 years and the Democrats have only won more than 50% of the vote in 3 of those elections one of which was the problematic 2020 election where no one alive can verify the legitimacy of the vote.
It's short sighted and foolish to think the electoral college is meaningless. When the pendulum swings back in the other direction you will miss the electoral college.
Remember the illegals you're flooding the country with do not share your leftist values. In a few generations they will be voting on their values and not for the free stuff you bought their votes with.
SMH.....
Illegals are not American citizens, they do no vote, neither do the following people here legally:
Non-citizens, including permanent legal residents, cannot vote in federal, state, and most local elections. Some people cannot vote after being convicted of a felony or if they are currently serving time for other types of crimes. Rules are different in each state. Check the laws in your state. Some people who have a mental disability may not be able to vote. Learn about your voting rights. Rules vary by state. U.S. citizens residing in U.S. territories cannot vote for president in the general election.

A higher proportion of Republicans than Democrats voted for the Civil Rights Acts.
Blacks started switching to the Democrat party in the 1930s to get in on the free goodies offered by FDR's New Deal.
It is worth noting that both FDR and LBJ were very very very racist toward black people.
Do you Americans not realize how ridiculous this appears to the rest of the world?
do you know what happens in the third world -- or even a lot of the first -- when you attempt a coup and fail? hint: it's not you get to run again next election pretending nothing happened. what do you think would happen if pro-navalny folks tried to break into the kremlin? how did china handle tian-an-men or hong kong? exactly.
the constitution says folks engaged in insurrection can't hold either national or state office. US law also has an insurrection act saying similar things if you are convicted of insurrection.
"democracy" is not you run the constitution and the laws of this country through a shredder and the only thing that matters is do enough zombies vote you back in. this isn't nam, there are rules.

this is inaccurate. as late as the 1950s jackie robinson was a republican. nixon got 32% of the black vote in 1960. what happened is that with civil rights resolved, the GOP started pandering to white southerners, and things stalled out at "the right to vote."
perhaps you are unaware that in many parts of the country black folks had trouble getting jobs in the white part of town, weren't supposed to be there after sundown, couldn't get a mortgage, couldn't go to white schools or colleges. setting aside centuries of slavery or sharecropping.
your position is you sign the civil rights acts, grudgingly and slowly let blacks into normal life and neighborhoods. but act like you owe them nothing.

Do you support affirmative action? And do you think it should apply to black immigrants who arrived after the 1960s?
to clarify something, refugees are legal status. you are here legally until either given refuge or denied. this is the whole reason the GOP wants to change the rules and make that process harder. they want reality to match their rhetoric that everyone here is illegal.
for example, under US asylum law, it's written into the text you do not have to apply at a port of entry. this is because historically, in other parts of the world, people fleeing a nasty war aren't expected to go find a checkpoint to seek safety.
if you really wanted immigration fixed you'd hire more immigration judges where we don't have endless folks waiting on years of court dates.

Nice try. You use British English and you are constantly shi.tting on Americans.
You are wrong. You didn't know how to write dates. You are a narcissistic sociopath.
So one former Confederate general 30 years after the Civil War achieving public office (for reasons only of political expediency) doesn't refute the reason for the 14th Amendment and the Confederate leaders being disqualified from public office. What do you think was the purpose of the 14th Amendment? I don't expect an intelligent answer.
quote:
"He represented a North Carolina district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1881 to 1887."
It wasn't just one. Per usual you are arrogantly clueless.
Alexander Stephens, Vice President of the Confederacy, served in the US Congress from 1873-1882.

Fifty years ago, when the ultra-conservative wing of the GOP overthrew Republican moderates to choose Barry Goldwater as the party standard-bearer, black voters deserted the GOP in droves.
