You always fail to mention that Lauren was a basketball All American who ran track about 10 weeks of the year in college. Not crazy at all to drop time when you recognize talent in running and shift your focus when college basketball ends to do pro level year round training for a few years. She was also a solid 400 hurdler and could run 56.XX for 400 off of basketball. It’s not hard to add endurance and make massive middle distance improvements with that background. But that doesn’t fit your drug agenda does it?
But back to Wiley, keep those comments going! Her social media Q score is off the charts lately. And Astro, sincerely…we Wileymaniacs largely have you to thank for it.
It also wasn’t a 5 second drop… I’ve ran 2:02 and 2:01. Good reminder to not believe everything you see online. Also I’m a clean athlete with 8 clean drug tests to back it up
I guess. But supposedly she ran the second or third fastest 800 time in college history after a previous PR of 2:04 despite the revisionism. Is that remotely fair to the other athletes on that list that they were displaced by a runner directly involved in a major doping scandal? Claim all the alleged passed tests you want; no one is that gullible.
No collegian has run faster in both the 800 and 1500 - and she's only a rising sophomore. I hope she takes another shot at the 1500 this year. Frankly she doesn't look fast enough to go sub-2, yet there she is blowing away a pretty good field at the finish of a fast race. With Mu sulking in her tent, it's nice to have some runners who enjoy competing this summer.

Passed tests are passed tests, not "alleged" passed tests. There's a presumption of innocence that will allow her to compete until she fails a test - the chorus of opinions to the contrary have absolutely no impact on her eligibility. Live with it.
Houlihan had a failed test not an "alleged" failed test. And she received a severe punishment. When (if) Addy fails a test, or dodges a test, we'll hear about it, In the meantime she competes. Those are the rules. Fortunately, the opinions of sideline speculators have absolutely no impact on her ability to compete, nor should they as long as we live in a world of rules, not opinions.
