maybe you should look into some miracle weight loss drugs like the American named OZEMPIC... you could be running your own training program, down 10-15 kilos in no time.
In fact I believe it gonna be quite easy for me to run 17:30 @ 5000m next year . It only requires my favorite maxVO2 interval 20 x 400m to be at 82-83 sec per rep. A couple of years ago I coached a Swede then aged 60 and with far from my basic talent ( In my only 800m race I did a 1:58. with opening lap at 54 sec). I got him down to running the 20x 400m @ 75-76 sec with 60 sec rest and controlled feeling. Out from this I think it really will be easy for me to run 20 x 400m @ 82-83 sec. and threshold intervals @ 3:45 min/ km. ( 6:00 mile pace) with lactate at about 3-4 mmol for most effective threshold improvement and complement with easy steady distance @ around 5 min/ km( 8 min mile pace) . Out from my coaching of hundreds of runners at different levels from ' hobby joggers' to world class elite I know I will be guaranteed quite easy to run at least a 17: 30. 5000m. next year, this year had given me a silver medal in Masters World Champs age group 65-69 ! 🇸🇪🧙♂️

Sammy is racing in a pair of loaned Supershoes, I believe. To reach the highest level these days I believe he would need to invest or have someone invest in a pair of brand new or quasi brand new Super shoes the kind which retail for around $300 to $500 US dollars. It can make a significant difference as we have seen with many athletes. This is especially relevant in the marathon where preservation of muscle integrity in the quads and calves play a large part in being able to maintain a solid pace right up until the end.
His last race, a marathon, will take place on the last day of the world championships the 27th of August 2023, ironically on the same day as the marathon in the world championships. We will be following both races with bated breath.
I sincerely hope Sammy returns to Kenya with some dollars in his pocket which will take care of his home life situation for the next few months or more.
Has China is 6 hours ahead of Hungary time by the time Sammy has finished his marathon in China next Sunday the 27th of August he will be able to sit down and watch the world championship marathon on TV with his cohorts at the hotel in China hopefully with a good result on a personal level for Sammy. Coach JS will also be following this very closely with his analytical and expert eyes. The evergreen Swedish coach with the surprisingly youthful looks has many plans for the future.
On a side note, Emil Milan de la Oliva won a big 10km night race in Stockholm, Sweden last week in 29 minutes flat but for me it is very disappointing that Milan has not improved on the track in the last couple of years and focuses only on the road. Emil also turned down an offer from the University of Alabama to accept a scholarship there for the next few years. At age 22 he is still young enough to profit from a US education and athletic scholarship.
He would be older than the average freshman in the USA, but perhaps Emil could be persuaded to run for Ed Eyestone at B.Y.U. where many returning missionary Mormons are in that age group. Conner Mantz comes to mind. Connor served his mission in Ghana for two years.
One of the issues with Emil is that he is not fond of academics and did not even finish his high school studies in Sweden. The USA SAT test is not particularly difficult but it can be a challenge for someone who did not finish High School in Europe. Emil is by no mean stupid but he's not academically inclined but he has creative talent as we have seen with his numerous hip-hop and rap videos on YouTube.
Coach J.S. is in close contact with Emil and his father in Sweden. Emil almost signed a contract with coach JS recently but backed out at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. We wish both of them rosy futures in their different paths. They are both unique characters in their own ways.

This is true. At the last minute, Emil realized J.S. was Jan Stensson, not Jerry Schumacher, so he backed out.
Why so negative always ht55? Isn't your life going as well as you hoped for and you always have to hunt me down? Nothing of the things you make up about me and my life and coaching has anything to do to reality. 😁😁😁😉😉😉

Negative? That couldn't be farther from the truth 😘🧙♂️🤡🇸🇪
The masters world champs will take place in my native town Gothenburg in Sweden next year. I will make a real try to race there in my then age group 65- 69 . I can still move fast , did some fast short interval reps today 16 x 80 m Feels good. When the Swedish winter comes I have a treadmill and gym in my community. I'm really motivated.... 🙏🧙♂️🇸🇪👋
If your goal is to race, no qualifying time is required, so I believe that you'll be able to hit that goal. Given your current shape and previous failed attempts at getting better, I think it would be a success if you do not get lapped more than once.

Sammy Nyokaye had a fine China race yesterday . Winning his last race out of three, a marathon. Now he returns for this time to Kenya with 2 wins and one 6th place . A very good outcome. Now some rest and then he returns to effective Dancan system training.
We believe in you coach and we already have evidence of your outstanding talent as an elite athlete many years ago but the big issue will be weight loss. To run 1730 for 5,000 meters you would need to weigh around 75 kilograms (166) or less for a height of 188 centimeters (6.2).
We also agree that you are a surprisingly youthful and dynamic looking 64 year old who can pass for at least ten years younger than your chronological age. No doubt, this is also advantageous in befriending women from the former Eastern block.
One feels, perhaps, that some posters here are somewhat jealous of your lifestyle and acquisitions.
Respect.
is this actually ghost or somebody hijacking his username or using a similar username. it seems like it must be parody, too funny to be real.

So that runners confirms it. JS is not their coach. He sends a plan to their Kenyan coach, Sammy, who then makes its own interpretation of it.
We already know that what they do has nothing to do with dancan, because dancan is a singles, low mileage approach, and those runners are doing doubles at least 5 times a week.

so first you pillory coach JS for not having any success with his athlete/s but then you admit that his athlete/s aren't following his training plan. you can't have your cake and eat it.
