Danny's kick is just as good if not better than Noonan's. If you look at the data, he can put 15+ seconds on people in the last mile and if you don't recall, why did he take 2nd last year? Because he closed like a train. He also beat Jojo Jordan by 10 seconds at NXR, who defeated Noonan at Firman.
Yall seem to forget that Noonan beat JoJo by how much at Woodbridge? Then the week after he had to travel to altitude and only lost to JoJo by .7 secs in the midst of hard training.
If you’ve seen any Noonan’s races, he does the bare minimum the first two miles and then pulls away the last mile. At the state meet, he was second at the 2.1 mile split by 4 seconds and then he went on to put down a 4:26 mile to win by 17 secs to run the 8th He had a 21 sec swing all in the last mile. He ran 14:35, all time 8th fastest behind German Fernandez, the trio of Young siblings, elder Sahlman, Leo Daschbach, and Fast horse.
Also yall forget that Noonan has experience racing at NXN too. He was the second fastest sophomore in the race last year.
I agree. But at a race like NXN he needs to adhere to the advise Eli Fitchen-Young took from Broen Holman’s dad. For answer watch Fitchen-Young’s post race interview.
Parra is the king for California xc this year. He pulled through when it matters most. Contrats parra!!!
lmao not even close, fast horse noonan and perez had a better overall season than parra, even joshua bell had a better season
Nope Jojo Jourdon is now the fastest xc runner in the country. Parra is the 8th. Josh Bell 9th. The earlier races should be used to prepare for the last race (most important race) of the season. People make the mistake of getting too excited for early races.

parra was the better runner that day for sure but I said overall throughout the season those other four guys had a better season than parra :)

Unfortunately for the other guys it really doesn't work like that.
One example is what Centro did at the Rio Olympics. He won.. very slow race but he won when it matter and was crowned the Olympic Champion. That's what JoJo did on Saturday. Get over it. JoJo is the champ and Parra is the best in Cali.. That's the end for 2023 Cross Country. Better luck next year.

unfortunately it does work like that in this case. you’re going to say parra is better than simmons? he’s not, btw, you and everyone here knows that. those other guys had a bad race that day and parra executed perfectly, kudos to him, but he did not have a better overall szn than those other guys. i don’t know how that’s so hard to understand.

lowkey parra is fs top3 in cali respectfully
Let it go.. You're obviously a Parra hater. Not sure why since Parra is a very good dude.
You're going out of your way to prove a point against Parra but don't say anything about JoJo being the best in the nation!

i don’t hate parra lmao I’m just stating a valid opinion, and besides we were talking about cali boys.
