I’m not buying it. Why would money be spent for travel expense for a game anyone would know would be a rout? Women are prone to serious knee injuries so why would the team physician sign off on such a stupid game? Why would talented female players hang in there for an entire first half of blocked shots?
A lot of time and expense would be needed to put your game into play, so obviously there there was some type media coverage you could link us to.
could the best boys HS b-ball team in your state beat the best team in WNBA?
I don't know. I honestly have no idea how good the best boys HS team in Colorado is. Possible though. But they had better be pretty good.
When the women's national team would come to Colorado Springs for training camps or tryouts, several of my guy friends who had played D2 or D3 would scrimmage against them. These guys were not great basketball players (and were in their late 20s at this point) but they could do okay. The reason they were recruited was for their height. There not a lot of women 6-3+ who could play well enough and were not already on the team so they had to practice against men to simulate what they would face in competition.
I once played in a pick up game against Teresa Edwards (look her up). We had some guys who had been all region in HS basketball. She killed every one of them. But it would be interesting to see it.
EVERY Varsity team at a suburban school of greater than 500 kids would destroy the WNBA champs. The only Varsity boys teams that could lose are either the inner-city schools that have absolutely no direction or very small town teams.
Are you really claiming the suburban school would be better at basketball than the inner-city school????
There is some bias in that comment. Look at where the last 15 years of US NBA players have come from.
If the NBA was not funding it, it would already have been shut down many years ago. No one wants to watch an inferior product.
Why would people want to watch any women’s sport? All of them are inferior products. There are at least a thousand HS boys that could beat Touhy at any distance.
Well I am not watching them run against men. I like the competition. A race with a finish down to the wire is exciting.
I like watching some women's sports (track and tennis with gymnastics every 4 years). Heck maybe women's figure skating and gymnastics is superior to the men. Certainly more popular in the US.

Brittney Griner is 6'8" and can barely dunk. I remember a 5'2" high schooler who could easily dunk. Everyone on my high school team could dunk and all but one of us was white.
The gap in Combat sports (Boxing Wrestling etc.) is even wider, even if the Woman has better skills, They may be Strong enough or fast enough or have great endurance, but with women they rarely if ever have all these qualities. They can have the best Coaching, best facilities etc, but the gap is too wide to overcome.
At the top, unlimited, weight category, this might well be true -- hardly any athletic women wouldn't have a massive weight disadvantage on top of everything else. However, in the lower weight classes of high school wrestling, girls occasionally qualify for state championship tournaments in states that don't have girls' wrestling but let the few girls who insist on wrestling anyway compete with the boys.
Actually, I just found a case from this year in Pennsylvania. There are a number of schools with girls' wrestling teams, and even a girls' wrestling state tournament, but it's not a PIAA-sanctioned event yet. Sierra Chiesa won the unofficial girls' state tournament at 118 (possibly wrestling up a class as she won at 112 last year) and also competed with the boys at 107, even winning two consolation bracket matches. She's the first girl ever to reach this level in Pennsylvania, but others have done similar things in other states.
This would be an interesting thing to allow men and women to compete against one another in weight class activities. Of course men and women of the same weight would still have different amounts of body fat and lean mass (with men having less and more typically) and that would translate into a strength and/or power difference, but it would be interesting. Some skilled HS female wrestlers are quite good and their tactical advantage can make up for a less strength.
This is an easy yes. Hell the womens olympic team would get killed. Didn’t we just witness something like this when these womens World Cup soccer teams got destroyed by middle school age boys?? basketball would be much worse.

I am going to call BS on 5-2 dunking.
“Easily” dunking no less. Tammy’s history says it all though - replete with lies and falsehoods.

I taught two 5'4" guys who were able to dunk tennis balls.
Professional women would probably have a higher bball IQ, but the boys ability to dunk and rebound would make the difference
This is similar to what the reports were from the USWNT games against teenage boys. The women, having longer experience with the game, were strategically more sound and disciplined, and worked better as a unit rather than the boys who would often look like a bunch of individuals. So the women could, for example, keep possession of the ball better than you might think. But the superior speed and strength of the boys more than made up for that in the final result. I'm sure you're right about the hypothetical basketball game, and I'd wager that basketball, by favoring height so much, would just be more lopsided than soccer where the game is played more "on the ground" so to speak and height isn't as much of a factor overall. (Lionel Messi, for example is like 5-7 and it hasn't hindered him in any way.)
If you've ever been able to see a really good high school boys team, they're gonna have dudes up in the 6-5 to 6-8 and beyond range and some of those teams just run up and down the floor and dunk at will. We had our state's No. 1 team come visit our school for a game and we got blown the heck out, but it was a revelation to watch those guys. A week earlier one of our tall-ish farm boys had thrown down a put-back dunk and we all went wild because we'd never seen such a thing. Then the state No. 1 team came in and probably threw down 20 dunks in the course of the game. WNBA players couldn't hang with them.
I believe the Connecticut coach Geno has talked about how the women's team would scrimmage against former high school basketball players who no longer played. He said when the guy players wanted, they could prevent the women's team (like 36-0 team) from even advancing the ball across mid-court.
A team of the five best women basketball players in the world couldn't beat a good boys' high school team, and probably couldn't beat an average boys' team. Most 5'10" high schoolers can dunk. Just about every varsity high schooler is faster than the fastest woman player. If the boys' team guards the three pointers and just does layups on offense, the score should be about 60-15.

This is a lie. Auriemma would sometimes get guys (grown men in fact) to play with his backups against the UConn starters, especially when UConn had very tall players because they couldnt simulate height in practice. And he would tell the guys to play hard and be really physical against them. This was particularly true when they had Kara Wolters who was 6-7 and had no height match among the female players. But he generally played 2 or 3 guys at a time along side 2 or 3 female bench players. Not all five. But one time he let five guys go head to head with his starting five in the year they went 35-0 and he said Nykesha Sales scored 18 straight points against them. They coudnt stop her at all. So not only are you fully lying to make the women look bad but you have decided you are going to declare that the very opposite of what happened is the truth, I assume because you figure nobody actually knows about that story. But then that fits the narrative in this thread of making sht up about playing against girls and how badly they beat them.

By the way speaking of the Huskies, Bleacher Report used to run computer simulations between NCAA Tournament teams and had a really good track record of predicting winners for mens games. In 2010, when Connecticut finished the season as undefeated national champs and looked unbeatable, they actually ran a matchup simulation between the Huskies and several of the mens teams and the computer determined that Mens national champion Duke would beat them 100% of the time, runner up Butler 98% of the time but that Toledo, one of the worst teams in the country that year, would lose to the Connecticut womens team 29% of the time. And this is a college team versus a college team not a WNBA team versus a middle school team or whatever people are talking about here. These are age appropriate opponents. So the concept that a womens team cant beat a mens team statistically is garbage. And while beating Toledo 3 out of 10 times is eye opening, I find the fact that Connecticut could have beat the runner up to the National Champion in the mens Tournament 2% of the time far more shocking. Because thats a team that beat some of the best MENS teams in the country (33 wins) and came within one half court heave of being the National Champion themselves. So I know this is an incel circle jerk thread but Im afraid your fantasy of beating up on these ungrateful females isnt quite as clear cut as you think. But dont let me get in the way of your fantasies. please carry on making up stories about how badly your 3rd grade rickets team once beat a professional womens team in a scrimmage 1000 - 2 so all the other incels can high five you.

I don't understand how a game between guys and girls, each with different rules and never ever having played each other can be simulated.
Computer simulation is beyond fantasy. They might not have been able to score 10 points against Butler. They wouldn't have won 1 in a million real games. Has anyone here even watched a basketball game? Mens' college teams are FAST and BIG. They have astonishing athletes. Women's teams are just not even in the same sentence. Good high school boys teams would destroy the WNBA.

they used mens rules (so even more of an advantage for the men I guess) and according to the software writers they take into account the "physical make-up" of the women athletes which seems to indicate they take into account they are shorter and slower on average.

Shorter and slower is not helping them. All the strategy and teamwork in the world won't help after the first time they get dunked on or punched in the teeth.
