I assume that this is a thread for all results in the meet.
Hodgkinson takes the 800 in a WL time of 1:57.71 but wasn’t happy with the effort. I can’t wait until she matches up with Mu this year. That will be a classic.
As for Fisher, great chance to mix it up with good competition. Girma is really good indoors and Krop is in solid shape (27:04 road 10K). Katir has a 3:35 unopposed, he’ll be formidable. Thierry N ran a 3:42 1500, so might not be ready. Bekele good 10K in December, Balew ok XC results. I figure Girma and Katir will be right there, we’ll see if Krop is sharp.

I’m having a good day
You got two of the top three (way off on winning time but most of us were) and seem to be one of the few who had faith in Katir. Was that just a lucky guess or do you know something we don’t? He didn’t look great running 3:35 but clearly most of us misjudged him.

Yeah I think I had 7:26-27. Didn’t expect Girma to send it fully like he did. I had the top 2 though, and Krop I had 4th in the pecking order mostly due to my doubts on Thierry, Bekele and Balew. My pick for 3rd- Fisher surprised me - it was much like Cranny’s race. On Katir no inside info but he rarely looks that good in a 1500/mile. I didn’t take much from a hard last lap with nobody near him. A 3:35 opener with a little struggle the last lap is good as an opener for him. He ran quite a bit faster in his December 10k than last year, too.
