Lots of good advice in this thread..... I wouldn't overthink it. It was too warm at Berlin 2022 for most of us to run our best. I sweated buckets and started suffering minor cramps in the last mile. Someone mentioned the lack of electrolytes on the course and I believe this was another important factor. I'm not saying conditions were BAD, just far from ideal esp if you're someone who tends to sweat a lot. If you feel good 2 weeks from now, I'd give that 2nd marathon a shot. I had good results with a 4 week turn around a few years ago. If you ran way slower than your marathon pace on the 2nd half, Berlin was just a really just a extra long long run for you.
FWIW. I'm male, age 55, I used the Pfitz 18 week/70-85 mile plan and ran 3:04 at Berlin.
