this is really a massive pickup for the Cavs. David came back with a vengeance this track season after being sidelined with an injury all last xc season. shes in the conversation for a national championship.
also, Florida state cross country champion Jillian Candelino is headed to Tennessee. The Volunteers have had a rash of signings recently (Cecelia Pugsley, Julia Ray, Rondi Quass) but this is the best of them so far.
Jillian's fellow Bolles runner, Aidan Ryan, Florida state track champ in the 16 and 32 is also heading to Tennessee
Lily Baker of Columbus North High School in Indiana (2:14 800, 4:57 1600, 17:39 XC 5K) to Tennessee as well

Another Aidan ryan
Any predictions on where the other Bolles guys go?
Andrew McGraw
Matthew Thomas
Daniel DeMonte
Cormac Kimberly
Virginia state champion Thais Rolly (4:49/10:16) is headed to Duke.
should probably add Blue Devils are also getting very fast English runner Iris Downes (56.1/2:04/4:47) as well. U18 Worlds Bronze medalist in the 8.
*European Bronze medalists I should say.
Yet more boarding the Stanford bus: Palo Alto's own Hillary Studdert (2:10/4:51) will be joining the Cardinal gang. So by my count thats (distance only):
Class of 22: Whittaker, Willis, Parekh, Stewart, Wells, Hogg, Flynn
Class of 23: Kennedy, Riggs, Peters, Everett, Shults and now Studdert
Just looking at that list, its clear the collegiate 4X8 record is toast and they could do that easily without any upperclassmen. Shoot, the class of 22 kids could do that by themselves. Today...
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
