Ghost1, do you think Julien should retire and work full time in his restaurant?
Gressier will soon take all his European records and he will be forgotten forever. Might as well anticipate.

Julien is only 26 years young so he still potentially has many years ahead of him. His restaurant is just a side line and he’s not really interested in the money side - it’s really a basic “hole in the wall restaurant”: serving humble people mostly. Julien still hopes to reach the very highest levels in athletics. I am surprised and somewhat disappointed that so many people think that Julien’s running days at the highest level are over. He is still committed and ASICS is still right with him 100%

He will run Hanover marathon with Amanal petros both trying to beat the the Olympic standard.
Nope, He won't. Once again excuses is coming up near a race.... This time he "didn't find the form he was hoping for" in the build up. Surprised? Anyone?
To be honest, I was already suspicious that he would start at Hannover Marathon, after his "medicore" time at Ibiza 10km road race 29/1 (time: 28.27 / 5km splits @13.45 / 14.42...) but that is another story. He said it was "a preparation according to plan" to his Marathon at Hannover. Yeah right...
This guy never learns from his mistakes. Races during training session and have nothing left when it comes to REAL races.
This wrote Wanders on his Instagram yesterday:
"Unfortunately I won't be able to compete in @fast5000.fr tomorrow because of a small issue with my Achilles tendon, which doesn't allow me to wear spikes at the moment. I'm still enjoying my training in Font-Romeu and will start my season as soon as the pain is gone! "
Anyone surprised? This guy never learns from his mistakes. Always trains like a maniac (races on training) which in the end always ends with injuries and/-or sickness.
Wanders should be listen to a very wise advice, that Jakob Ingebrigtsen said in an interview after his world record at 2 miles yesterday in Paris Diamond Leauge: "One of the biggest mistakes people do is that they go too hard on training"
According to his Instagram feeds, Julien Wanders has taken 6 weeks completely off from running, and is now 100% recharged! Didn't think he had the guts (or dare) to take that decision, but he did. Very wisely acted!
If he now building up the mileage and intensity slowly, I do believe Wanders will come back to his REAL potential again!
Sounds like a silent ban.
He is looking very strong in this video
