Ive seen track competitions on my tv,and seen plenty of women with bulging biceps, adams apples, and 5 oclock shadows in athletics events.Their steroid cocktails masculinize them.
Just create their own division for competition. Case closed.
A few hundred posters have suggested that but it’s not a compromise and it would appease no one. Transgender females want to compete in the womens division and the only choices are yes or no,
What about team sports or if one transgender athlete shows up for a tennis tournament? In track, officials won’t want to lengthen meets, people attending the meet don’t want to watch a transgender race and no network will televise it.
University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas will likely be eligible to compete in both the Ivy League and NCAA championships after the NCAA announced that it
After reviewing USA Swimming's new testosterone threshold, the NCAA said in a statement Thursday that its subcommittee decided that implementing additional policy changes at this time "could have unfair and potentially detrimental impacts on schools and student athletes" who plan to compete at the 2022 women's swimming championships.
See the tweet from ESPN reporter Katie Barnes who writes, "The NCAA is adopting new regulations for transgender athlete participation effective immediately per release. The new policy phases out current NCAA guidelines, and adopts those of federations/NGBs/IOC, which vary by sport. Story coming."
I'm stunned by this. To be honest, while I think the NCAA regulations are a joke and think Thomas should not be competing, I'm not sure from a philosophical standpoint that I like them caving to public pressure mid-season. That''s like a bananna republic.
It's certainly a step in coming to the right decision but it's totally done the wrong way . They should have had different rules years ago. The idea that there would be no minimum level of testosterone was absurd.
What are the odds Thomas lawyers up?

I agree with all of the above.
Someone at work brought this topic up a couple days ago and it's disappointing how unempathetic people are to the situations these athletes are being put through. Not only do they just want to compete and be treated with dignity, but the sporting federations don't know what to do with them and then they become the subjects of commentary and criticism from fans and pundits. So they are simultaneously the villains and also have no support from their governing bodies.
Our current framework doesn't really allow for a truly "fair" outcome as it's unfair to allow most M - F transgender athletes to compete in the women's divisions but it is similarly unfair that they can't compete at all.
They can compete with other men all they want. They are not banned from fair competition, just unfair competition.

All the real women should boycott any race this pos enters.
