It's different there in Austria wrote:
You added several exclamations but you didn't state much differently than what I stated. You must be a billionaire or 1/2 billionaire, those are who suffer under Austrian's tax code. If you are not a multimillionaire, you are what is called a capitalist stooge. There are only a few thousand billionaires over the entire globe, about 650 in U.S. Capitalism, the way U.S. regulates capitalism with U.S. laws and policies only survives thanks to capitalist stooges like yourself, people who vote against their self interests.
* Most U.S. citizens would love dental, medical and mental health for 50 Euro, about $55 a month.
* Most U.S. citizens would love to go to college for free without having to deal with F.A.F.S.A. and without having to declare poverty to their favorite college or university.
* Most child bearing in U.S. would love government subsidized day care.
My point, which you are not understanding, is that neither system is better than the other. You are not only paying 50 euros, you are paying your tax money, which also goes into the Austrian Medical System. It is not accurate to say you only pay 50e. The real cost is more.
Some of the policy models and benefits you think are great, truly are! But how do you implement government daycare in a country of +330 million that is more that 11,600 times larger that your country land wise. It is much easier to write public policy for a non diverse population of 9 million, than it is for an incredibly diverse population of over 330 million.
Austria Health Care Costs
Public tax spending on healthcare in Austria was about 22 billion EUR (30.3 billion USD), which is about 7% of GDP (gross domestic product) and 25% of social expenditure. Some 81% of this 22 billion EUR sum paid for outpatient and inpatient care. And a significant 15% went towards income support for employers, due to people missing work or because of illness.
Austria is approximately 83,871 sq km, while United States is approximately 9,833,517 sq km, making United States 11,625% larger than Austria. Meanwhile, the population of Austria is ~8.9 million people (323.8 million more people live in United States).
I am not sure what your point is about FAFSA. It is just a form? It isn't very difficult to fill out.
As far as the capitalist stooge name calling, that is beneath you. It is obvious that that I am not a billionaire who just spends time on a running message board. I am just an average citizen who sees that the picture is much bigger than the one you paint.
