Now, your threatening tone is misplaced. It is people like you who will soon have to buckle up as you will be faced with a fight you aren't equipped to fight.
Where I live, it has been recently revealed (by government entities, not some random twitter or facebook page) that an estimated 20% of curable cancers have not been detected in 2020 because of the covid restrictions/fearmongering that kept people from even going to hospitals.
The oncologist explained that this means an increase in 20% of cancer-related deaths is to be expected.
1. I would like you to think of 1000 random people. Maybe some people you know will be in there, for sure a few children. Walk up to them and tell 200 of them:
"You will soon die of a cancer that could have been treated were it not for the covid measures I defend."
2. Buckle up buddy. If you were one of the doctors telling my loved one to stay home instead of getting their medical examination, and my loved one ended up in those 200, there would be consequences.
Just buckle up because you're about to get a fight you aren't equipped to fight, and there are millions that have been badly hurt by the likes of you.
"The rate of new cancers per year is 442.4 per 100,000. Let's pretend ALL of those are curable. So it's 88.4 (20%) out of 100,000 people... not 200 out of 1000... talk about data manipulation and fear mongering.
https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/understanding/statistics#:~:text=The%20rate%20of%20new%20cases,on%202013%E2%80%932017%20deaths).
What would you like to be if not a dishonest fearmongering turd?
I said "where I live".

I don't care if you believe it or not. I have worked in an oncology unit and I know what I am talking about.
You, on the other hand, are a disgusting fearmongering coward, co-responsible for untold suffering and death.

ROFL. Called out on your absolute BS with real numbers and you have no response but the 'I have a secret GF she goes not another school' classic.

UK death rates per million last week were 10; compared to 15 for the US. The UK has a 61% fully vax rate compared to 51% for the US. The numbers are pretty comparable and don't prove much.
Israel is also at 15 deaths per million last week. Their fully vaccination rate is 5.8 million out of 9.3 million or 58%.. but supposedly they have a higher percentage of old people vaxxed...although the US also has about 77% people above 65 fully vaxxed so the data really isn't that different between countries.
But yes, vaccines aren't fully effective, but they do improve odds.
Literally every statistic I can find says non-vaccinated are hospitalized at higher rates than vaccinated. Obviously, vaccinated people can still get sick and die, (which, side note; doesn't that make Covid seem more real?? lol). But again, it's about odds for me, and the odds are better being vaccinated.
Africa? South Africa has fully vaxxed rate of 7.7% and death rate of 43 per million the last week.. so over 4 times the UK... Great example! There's 9 other African countries with higher death rates than the UK with a few at over 80 per million. Also, many of the Africa counties test far, far less... so I'm not sure how accurate all this data is anyways.
I'm not sure why people are surprised by boosters? We haven't eradicated Covid like we have the measles. Of course, we'd need boosters for an on-going, adapting virus.
I can't prove the long-term effects. No one can. But what are the odds you will feel fine for 5 years, and then spontaneously develop some disease caused by vaccines with no evidence that will happen? I ate a watermelon grown in some sort of pesticide/herbicide yesterday. I feel feel right now, but who knows, maybe it 5 years I'll be infertile. Lol, anything is possible (I guess), but c'mon man.
I don't know much about your claims about opioids. But I don't dispute them. I don't even take advil, and I'm honestly pretty cynical about pharmaceuticals so I resonate with your initial hesitancy, but the vaccine still makes sense to me.
I have no emotional investment in this and no political investment. I just want people to be like robots, crunch the numbers, operate in 1's and 0's, and pick the choice with 50.1%+ chance to be more beneficial than the other. That's it.
Lie upon lie upon lie. And cherry picked South Africa from the entire continent of Africa
1. The lie about Israell:
2 Aug 2021
Israel’s government on Wednesday advanced a raft of new coronavirus restrictions, including sweeping implementation of a digital vaccine passport and tighter restrictions on mass gatherings, as the country struggles with skyrocketing new infections.
The country that had appeared to put the coronavirus pandemic behind it a few months ago after a world-leading vaccine drive is now reimposing regulations in a bid to clamp back down on infections.
2. The lie about Africa:
Recent data estimates that the African continent has accounted for just 4.1% of the total of 4.3 million deaths due to COVID-19. Earlier on in the pandemic, scientists had predicted a COVID-19 catastrophe in Africa, which is much more severe than what has actually been observed across the continent. South Africa is an exception and accounts for 35% of the confirmed cases and 42% of total deaths reported in 55 countries of the African continent.
This is your "proof" that we can be near certain there will be no long term effects from the vaxxes? Should have stopped at the admission you don't know.
You don't know about the opioid epidemic? How is this possible? How can we value the opinion of Big Pharma of anyone who is ignorant of this?

Since you folks are so damn smart, smarter than virologist, the WHO, CDC and every person who has worked on a vaccine. Tells us all how to defeat Covid19. Or are you still waiting on it to miraculously go away, like the former idiot president said.
What do I want? Nothing. I am doing anything at all. I have not been inconvenienced one bit.
I am just living my life in Coeur d Alene, free from all the COVID hysteria.
So again, while YOU do everything that is asked of you; masks, booster shot, lockdowns, mandates....while you juggle these balls like a chimp riding a bike in a Circus....
I have not done a damn thing to 'protect' me and my family from COVID. We have all had it and moved on 16 months ago.
You are the ONE that is inconvenienced and jumping through hoops for a virus that virtually has no chance of killing you if you are healthy.
So to you I say...

Exactly, you have not done a damn thing but run your stupid ass mouth and spread the virus.

If you don't have COVID............You can't spread COVID.........

I apologize; I didn't realize "where you live" has a 100% cancer rate... which means you and everyone you live with also has cancer...I'm very sorry to hear that (fortunately, it's curable cancer though for the 80% of your community who were detected). If you want to help people, you should probably be telling people not to move to where you live!
LOL, I'm sorry, I just had to point out the flaw in your math since you still didn't seem to get it. On a serious note, for the small amount of individuals that aren't receiving adequate medical treatment, yearly check ups, etc. and are now living with undetected cancer as a result, that is sad- I don't dispute that.
Doses per 100 people per the official numbers:
Israel 140;
UK 131.6;
Ghana 4.1
Ivory Coast 4.5
"Covid" deaths per 100,000
Israel 74.26
UK 196.87
Ghana 3.11
Ivory Coast 1.45

We are both sure about our beliefs so let's put some money on it. Since I got the two jabs and will likely get a booster, I'll probably be crippled and frail in 5 years. But I'm still willing to race a marathon for $50k because I think I'll be fine. It's easy money for you right, so let's set this up. You might as well take advantage of us idiots and make some money off of us for exhausting you with our sheepish, ignorant opinions.

Who said you will probably be crippled and frail in five years?
I do say they you may suffer long term problems from the vaccines. No way of knowing. You took a chance and went with the vax. No undoing it now.
I have not and, 18 months into this raging epidemic that is spreading life wildfire, still don't know anyone I see on a regular basis who has gotten sick with this virus. I am aware of maybe 6-10 people who have gotten sick with it. All are fully recovered. I am not going to take a flyer on an experimental vax that we are now told does not prevent transmission.
See. That's how you respond. No need for name calling. I leave that to those who do not question the official narrative
Walensky on Wednesday said that people who received the Covid vaccine early on are at an increased risk for severe disease.
So all the do-gooders and rule followers who blindly lined up to get the experimental jab right away are now being told they have no protection so they MUST get the booster.
Don't feel like a sucker yet?

Yes. I’m confident enough that the vaccine will not hurt me, that I’m willing to race a marathon for $50k in 5 years. And I like racing.. and winning money :)
Obviously, this is a ridiculous proposal, but it’s not like this conversation has been productive anyways.
The bottom line is, when it really comes down to it, you and Unkle don’t actually fully believe the vaccine will harm people all that much (excluding rare circumstances). You’re just fighting for some abstract principal, don’t want people to tell you what to do, you’re annoyed because COVID restrictions don’t really seem to help, and there hasn’t been one clear plan to handle this- it’s just been a chaotic, ever-changing assortment of ‘plans’ and changing course. You don’t feel COVID is a threat to you or that much of a threat of any somewhat healthy person under 70. You also feel the vaccines aren’t as effective as we were first told. You’re frustrated because you believe people aren’t thinking for themselves, and ignorance and blind-belief is disgusting to you. In addition, this is also your best way of opposing your perception of some liberal/elite agenda. And opposing all the self-righteous virtue signalers out there (we all agree they are annoying)
But disregard all of that, and look solely at one factor: “For the majority of people and society as a whole, is the vaccine really more of a health threat than Covid? Is the average person really more likely to be severely ill from the vaccine than they are from Covid? I don’t care about any anything other argument. Do you actually think the vaccine is more dangerous than Covid (not for you personally, but for society in general). In every study I can find, vaccinated people fare better than unvaccinated people when it comes to severe illness (not just Delta transmission rates). So there has to be some serious side effects from the vaccine for it to be doing more harm than good. So again, you really, truly, deep down believe the vaccine is doing more harm than good? ?
Interesting. Before they take the bet, can you tell them if you had a reaction to the jab or not? Did you feel tired, sore arm? Or was it like a walk in the park?

After the 2nd shot, I was tired/felt bad for ~24 hours. Didn’t run that day. I’m obviously weak and succumbed to the mighty power of the vaccine that is now slowly killing me. So they should take the bet :)
I will say though, at the time, I thought about just not getting the 2nd shot. The 1st shot seems effective enough and I’m low risk anyways. But ultimately, one day of feeling a little crappy really doesn’t matter.
Yes. I’m confident enough that the vaccine will not hurt me, that I’m willing to race a marathon for $50k in 5 years. And I like racing.. and winning money :)
You win! I will just mail you a check from my couch after the race.
I have never done a marathon! I love running but I enjoy the shorter races. Also, I am 54 years old so I am not terribly fast. I did a 1:39 Half this year and I felt like I was carrying a piano on my back for the last 5K.
Also, I have two kids in college and two more on the way so I think I will save my money in a race that you will almost certainly beat me.
I will say that I do find your responses sincere and well thought out. Best of luck as YOU (not me) play the COVID game.
Florida, Louisiana, Hawaii, Oregon all have had MASSIVE spikes in their COVID cases despite radically different policies on dealing with COVID.
It almost seems like there is Z E R O difference in outcomes between the states that comply and the states that don't?

Key Point #3 from the link you posted:
"The states with higher vaccination rates are seeing fewer Covid patients take up hospital beds."
Holy bleep man. You cherry pick something from an article that actually shows that YOU ARE WRONG.
Again, this is from that link you posted as evidence to support you:
"“That is why Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi are hurting with bed capacity and ascending death rates, while Oregon and Hawaii are hurting with explosive case rates, but with high vaccination and masking rates, may not ever be in the same precarious position,” said Dr. Peter Chin-Hong, an infectious disease expert at University of California in San Francisco."
But, this is what you do.
The Unkle wrote:

You claiming Walensky did not say that on Wednesday?
Let me post what she said, so there is proper context:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Walensky on Wednesday said that people who received the Covid vaccine early on are at an increased risk for severe disease.
So all the do-gooders and rule followers who blindly lined up to get the experimental jab right away are now being told they have no protection so they MUST get the booster.
“We are seeing concerning evidence of waning vaccine effectiveness over time and against the Delta variant,” Walensky said.
Walensky continued, “Reports from our international colleagues, including Israel, suggest increased risk of SEVERE disease amongst those VACCINATED EARLY.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, you have made it look like the vaccine itself is raising the risk of severe disease, when in fact what she said was those who took it early will have to get a booster because it's efficacy wears off after a certain amount of time. But you wouldn't be trying to mislead with your posts, would you?
OH, and there is this......
I find it interesting that what you posted was WORD FOR WORD from here:
https://ricktoney.wordpress.com/2021/08/20/cdc-director-walensky-there-is-an-increased-risk-of-severe-disease-among-those-vaccinated-early-video-so-all-the-do-gooders-and-rule-followers-who-blindly-lined-up-to-get-the-experimental-j/So either you are Rick Toney, or you just copied and pasted what he wrote to make it seem like yours.
