So here's the question...what world class athlete in heavy training in an Olympic Year, with coaches, nutritionists, doctors etc on hand goes out and eats at a food truck?
I'm no Tom Brady or Lebron James fan, in fact they are the two athletes I despise the most on this planet, but both of them know their body is their payday and they take excellent care of them. I don't think either would swing over to a sketchy food truck, at least during the season, and grab a sketchy burrito. Runners should do the same and invest in a bubble that surrounds them at all times and keeps them healthy and safe. Both are old for their sports but the investment has paid off and as much as I'd love either to get popped for PEDs I would bet neither would ever do them.
+1 And you were right about both Tom Brady and LeBron James and with Brady he’s an extremely clean eater almost fanatical with regard to health and he does not consume any sugar for example. LeBron James has a personal chef who earns a very nice salary for providing super healthy food for the King.and you were right about both Tom Brady and LeBron James and with Brady he’s an extremely clean eater almost fanatical with regard to health and he does not consume any sugar for example. You’re right it does not make sense for Shelby to eat at a food truck and when I look at the bodies of these female runners like Flanagan, Shelby and Quigley what I noticed is they all have six pack abs and very low body fat so it’s almost counterintuitive that any of those runners would eat at a food truck.
People comment about Jimmy Gressier and his constant fast food eating at McDonald’s but I guess he is the exception that proves the rule.
