Probably, but in none of those scenarios would they run a paced all-out time trial over their full race distance.
Speaking of pacing: what kind of a runner is good enough to pace 1200 m for a sub-4 over 1500, and yet doesn't mind risking a ban - and his reputation - for training/racing/pacing with a banned doper? Or was he not informed about the secret ban?
