First of all, what indicates he's a better 1500m runner this year than last year? And second of all, how much better? If he starts crushing 3:35s and beating pros, then count him in. Otherwise, he's not challenging for any spots. That's just the truth. I'm sure he's a great guy and you want to see him succeed, but you have to be realistic. He hasn't raced a 1500m in two years!
Yeah, crazy to think that a runner who has improved in other distances over the last two years could improve in the 1500m as well, especially with the new spikes. Just lunacy.
