Seriously, what a joke. Do they intentionally reroute the signal to their parents basement before sending it out to the world wide web?

hahah nice prediction bro. "Book it". Honestly I can't even with the jabrones that were predicting sub 1.42 here
Smh would've had it too if that damn wormhole didn't swallow him up at 300m. 1:43-high ain't too shabby after fighting off a glitch in time

It super unreasonable. Go check the other thread on Brazier running Monaco. Sub 1.42 has been run 15 times in the last 20 years. .
9 times, 15 times at all.
This was a crazy good prediction

Not enough competition, will run a solo 1:43.8
This ^
they streamed the 800 at the end of the 4x400 for anybody that wants to go back and watch.

Actually you are right - good spot! 15 times in the last 39 years!!!! (ever)
And in the last 20 it's been done by only 2 men - Amos and Rudisha and of those 9 times it was done by Rudisha 7 times!
This even reinforces my point about how hard it is and how insane it was people just thought he was gonna go out on Friday night, run and 800 and yeah I dunno, pop a 1.41. Gimme a break.

I think this is the most likely outcome, and we’ll have to wait till Monaco to see a concerted record attempt. I hope I’m wrong and he runs aggressively tonight.
He looked like he was standing still!
Yep right at 38 seconds on the feed he was standing still for an easy sub 1:44. Surely Brazier will run sub 1:39 in Monaco.
Bahaha is Flo the one streaming this? If so it's no surprise
Me being the pacemaker... I’m actually loling at this comment. Thanks for the good laugh ?
Brazier runs 1:43.8 and he's still going to break the WR this season, maybe the first man under 1:40. Jakob runs 1:46.4 and that will be his career PB at 19. Way too slow to out kick Erhiopians in the 5000m.

Close. I am still in amazement at the amount of "knowledgeable" track followers here who legitimately thought he was going to run under 1.42.
This is a superb run from him as it is
Some people thought Jakob was going to run 1:44...

Your understanding of middle distance running is so poor it is not possible to explain your misunderstanding.
If I were to attempt it would go something like this:
Brazier is not going to run under 1:40, nobody seriously thinks that. Brazier is not going to break the WR even.
Brazier is an 800m runner, Jakob is not. Brazier is going to run the 800m another 50+ times in his career, Jakob might run another 1 or 2.
Jakob will not do the work required to drop his 800m PB. He needs speedwork, which is neglected in their training.
Brazier is just getting started. Look at the splits. This is how a true 800 runner gets into shape. 50 at 400 then a ~54. Over the next few races he can bring that second lap down to 52.
Jakob doesn't have the speed to go through in 50 in the first place. So where does he go from there? He went through in 52 already, and ran a 54 second lap. Maybe he holds that to 53 with more practice?
Not sure if you two have some kind of trolling back and forth and your posts are just jokes. But what you're saying here isn't right, you know that right?

+111 The Brazier hype has gone completely out of control since Amos couldn’t turn up to worlds injured. He is very strong, but expecting him to run 1:41 solo is asking way to much of anyone not named David Rudisha (so far)
I'm not afraid to say it. Brazier is on the downhill side of his career. Might be done.
Which bit?
You believe Brazier to run under 1:40, or that Jakob will run 1:44?
Brazier NEEDS to get in a post race workout of a 50 second quarter. He needs to do repeats at 50 second quarter pace until he feels like a jog

Someone call his coach to share this insight on 800m training!!
