AM - easy 10 miler this morning (16 degrees!) recovering from yesterdays 16-mile long run (with a 5 mile pick up in the middle)
felt fine - better than i thought after yesterday, i haven't picked up anything lately - WINTERS GETTING OLD!!!!
Two sets of 4x800m with 45sec between reps and several mins between sets. 2:06-2:04-2:03-2:01-2:05-2:04-2:01-1:59. What can I race for a 5k?
Snowstorm up here. Took a vacation day and shoveled the driveway twice & read Crichton's "Next".
I also became a MAJOR fan of Susan Hendricks on
Headline News. Wow!!!

LOLOLOLOL!!! I heard it was more like 19:42 and peeved at the 13;15 predicted for him. I can do better question than yours:
What can I do for 4x1200m if I do a 19:42 5k? LOLOL. (The answer is notdeleted.)
Another day back from injury, trying to take it slow. 7-8 miles in 53:24 in the snowstorm here in Mass north of Boston, we ended up with about 10 inches. The middle 3rd of the run was fartlek in the highlands over some steep steep hills in lieu of hill repeats.
Oscar: you postin on Letsrun already? I suppose that's the logical thing to do after the ban...Anyway, nice workout. In ten years time i'll be as fast as you are now... without blades...

Yesterday:
Easy 30 min.
Tonight:
Easy 35 min.
Tomorrow:
2-mile warm-up
2-mile Half-M pace
2-mile cool-down
took the weekend off.....34' before work today...cold and dark, yuk
Today AM - 9 mi @ 9 deg. @ 6:30ish pace, trying to not b**ch about the cold too much.
Tonight - 6-8 miler depending how I feel and how much I want to run tomorrow (10-12 mi)
*I'm doing 90 mi this week in 7 days (9 runs) - pretty much the same thing I did last week (80 mi in 6 days / 8 runs) but with an extra 10 miler.
I heard Saturday should be around -5 deg. so the long run (16-18 mi) might have to wait till sunday

Yes it was Skuj who politely answered 13;15 to the original quesry.
And then what happened Running Dogg? (Wasn't very polite was it?)

I wouldn't say it was impolite, but RD clearly told Skuj he had been wrong. It's unclear if he was genuinely trying to help or if he purposely was being deceitful (maybe he thought he was being funny?). Either way, Skuj should have known better than to disseminate that kind of advice here.
AM: 5 miles (40.18) slow n steady w/ the mrs
PM: club training: 12 x 600m (1.58-2.01) felt shitty until number 9 and 12 was a betch too.
In conclusion, I hate training in the dark all the time.
Yeah. You'd never want to answer a question about running on a running discussion forum. (How was Skuj to know that Running Dogg was a liar?)

I'm not going to judge which one is the liar (both?), but if Skuj really told him he could do 13;15 off one workout, then they are both fools -- Skuj for giving him the time and Running Dog for believing it. They both deserve what they get.
