20 miles on the east shore trails, about 4.5 hours elapsed. Included this viewspot (about 2400' above the lake, every foot earned):
36 minutes with some time out for some supervision.
8 miler in 56 minutes. Felt great.
1/2 mile warm up, 8x600 with 2 min rest on grass field, 1/2 mile cool down, stretch, foam roller. Needed to find some form again.
It's been an interesting few days. Sunday morning I ran 6 EZ in Oslo, then later that evening I ran another 6 to and around a big park in Gutenburg, Sweden. Yesterday I didn't find time to run - first DNR since May - because I was meeting with a guy all day, then drove back to Oslo, arriving at 11:30 pm or so, in time to call home, hit the sack, and get up for early meetings today.
This evening I ran my first true "speed" session all year - some fast 200s, 150s and 100s. I like the feeling of running fast, but will admit the legs feel pretty much tapped out now. They'll be heavy and sore tomorrow I imagine.
Tomorrow and the next day I plan to explore Trondheim, Norway in my running shoes.
I pushed through a pretty sluggish 4.5 mile run. Most of it was through a wooded trail with some hills. I'm glad I woke myself up at 7am to do it- it's too hot out there now.
For 25:50, over Newport route.
Easy for over 11 min., solid pace for rest of run.
AHR 141 MHR 160.
I enjoyed reading about everyone's running escapades. Great stuff!
Today for me was a longish, 105' aerobic run. A good lifting session followed, then the usual stretching. No massage. :(
Took a day off yesterday, then 50 min tempo today.
Hard hill session today: 20' out, then 5 x .8 M hill loop (about 0.3 M incline) @ close to 80% vVO2max, 20' back. No lifting. Stretching, yes. Massage, YES (and I got a little excited, if you know what I mean....oops).
Good warmup, raced a 3:34.77 FTW, 1x400 jog w/flag, received gold medal, called it a day.
do you really expect r.d. to answer? u haven't known the history of this thread. r.d. is a serial liar.

An easy 60 ish today. No lifting or massage.
I apologize for missing the question on 100% vVO2max pace. To answer, it is approximately equal to your current 3K/2M time. Good luck with your training!
What's the running equivalent of Tadej Pogacar riding ~7 W/kg for 40 min?
JACOB and YARED, why won't either try to emulate Hicham's 1500m tactics?
Can we talk about how crazy hard this Olympic marathon course is?
