I am amazed that Tola ran a 2:06 OR on this course after attacking that hill that I literally laughed at the first time the camera turned around and you saw how much they had to climb (and you actually couldn't see how much they had to climb bc it was so high lmao) im excited to see the analysis of this because it's gotta be one of the greatest runs ever
What about your countryman Emil Cairess?
Eff Peacock. Nail in coffin.
Oh jeez, always one dick. He ran a great race and it's the flipping Olympics, nothing wrong with celebrating a top 10 on this course. Go back to Mom's basement.
USA network stream cut off the finish, anyone know where else to watch the rest?
But he didn't win his age group, Tadesse Abraham edged him out by 2 seconds
Who said it was hot and humid? It was cool and crisp. Maybe a touch of humidity but nothing like yesterday. If these weren't ideal weather conditions then I don't know what is
At least Peacock sort of showed the top 10 finishers finish. Typical marathon coverage is the winner hugging his coach, wife, and kids and zero coverage of the top 10.
Kipchoge in last. Is he still going?
Really happy for him, I saw so many people questioning his universality spot
NBC drops the race immediately in the most unceremonious fashion to go to weightlifting. Kind of a slap in the face to us fans.
Everyone had same camera feed. Is Kipchoge still out there?
Nippon in 6th with a PB
Still waiting for Lenny Korir
Live from the streets of Paris, maybe a bit before 38k - the crowd is still here waiting for him (and a few others)
Mantz and Young take down the greats Bekele and Kipchoge. Great race for the Americans!
Gramps Kipchoge dropped out around 35km after his 21:05 split
Abdi Nageeye plummeting - 63rd and sinking. Flying high in April, shot down in May. That's life.
Kipchoge is last. HE should finish the race. People will be happy to see him finish
Cole Hocker to Nike: "Yesterday's price is not today's price"
Official Paris Olympic marathon men’s thread - race 2 am east coast
Wow. How NOT to run a 4 x 100. US men's medal drought in 4 x 100 is now going to extend to 24 years
