Here’s an interesting fact: The Broncos are paying Wilson $28 million this season. That comes out to $1,647,058.82 per game. Wilson only had 82 net passing yards in last night’s game, which means the Broncos paid him $20,086.08 per yard. Pricey!

Russell Wilson has actually been pretty good this year. He and Dak Prescott both have 4 INTs but Dak has only 5 TDs and Russell has 12.
Wilson: 13/22, 95 yards, 1 garbage time TD and 2 picks. ESPN QBR of:
10.1, 19.3, 37.1, 65.3, 41.4 this season
Compare to Mahomes:
30/40, 306 yards, 1 TD, 1 pick. ESPN QBR:
60.4, 74.7, 70.5, 81.5 68.9
So Mahomes' worst game was Wilson's best game
Yikes, I just looked at Russell Wilson's ESPN QB rating - 38. 28th out of 32. I am not sure how it can be so low because 12 TDs and 4 INTs is not terrible. Joe Namath used to have more INTs than TDs.

I see what you did there - scan the stats to find someone who sucks even worse, then compare RW to me.
Not very nice of you.
Actually, Dak ranks 8th in ESPN QB rating. This is puzzling. Dak has a QB rating of 64 while Wilson has a 38 even though Wilson has 8 more TDs and they have same INTs.

You need to know professional Am. football history. Old A.F.L. was established as an exciting league to compete against old N.F.L. Long ago, old N.F.L. teams had running quarterbacks, there were short passes and teams usually only threw the ball about (10 to 15) passes per game. Old A.F.L. quarterbacks were encouraged to throw deep and throw often. The stats of old A.F.L. QBs do not look good compared to QBs who only played in N.F.L. People who know football knew not to overly punish old A.F.L. QBs for their high interception numbers. That is why George Blanda & Joe Namath are in Hall of Fame despite their bad interception numbers. Not in H o F but another old A.F.L. QB who was a fan favorite, Daryle Lamonica, a.k.a., "The Mad Bomber."

You say some interesting stuff. In '69 Johnny Unitas (who was considered the best QB ever) had 12 TDs and 20 INTs. He would not be playing today.
Great quarterbacks elevate the offense and get the most out of their receivers. Tom Brady won Super Bowls with Deion Branch and Troy Brown as his top receivers, two guys people wouldn’t know about if they hadn’t played with Brady. I don’t care who’s on the team. An elite quarterback should be able to generate more than 8 points.
This prediction was wrong last year. It took him almost the whole season to pass Elway. This whole last week you talked about it being the defense. Last night the defense stood up and held KC to 19 points and the Broncos still couldn't get it done. . Now your talking about how he has no weapons. What's next week? How the fans aren't loud enough. It's time to cut your losses and move on. I hear Russ is the new spokesperson for Motel 6, coincidence?
