Jeez gotta feel bad for Drew Hunter. Race of his life but still not enough
Jerry stock down
Fantastic performance by Fisher, and a decent kick by Woody. Nico is an Olympian, and did anyone think Drew Hunter would nearly sneak into the top 3? Solid performance all around for the top 4
He broke that open impressively. I want to go see his splits but winning by 50m over the last 1k in a tactical race is indicative of awesome stuff
3 HS prodigies vying for a spot. Hunter with the race of his life. Nico prevails, next gen!
Finally Hunter showing some balls after so many years as a pro. Great to see
Grant finally is a national 10000m champ in 27:49, Woody second in 27:50, Young hangs on for third in 27:52 although Drew Hunter was less than a second behind him in 27:53. Awesome racing from the top 8! Sad to see Chelimo get dropped so badly to 10th in 28:18 though

NBC coverage last 150m could not have been worse - completely missed Woody gapping Nico/Drew and then Nico holding him off - terrible

Chelimo looked great during those 71 second laps. That LetsRun poll wasn’t as interesting as he thought after all.

Wowwww Drew Hunter. I was really pulling for him at the end. Even over Nico honestly. Now I’m sad that we might’ve just seen the best run of his career

I wonder if he'd feel more confident in the 5k.
No sub 27s.... Dont see any of these guys getting bronze in Paris but maybe something crazy happens
How was the last lap so slow?
