75 minute run today, cold, 10 deg (colorado) w/ wind chill maybe sub zero. Very snowy w/ drifts on trail. Should've worn my snow shoes. Glad NOT to be on the treadmill...

AHR 137 MHR 156
91 minute run on the back roads. Legs felt straight up stale. Good thing I had a running partner.

8:11 to finish run. AHR 142 MHR 158.
No running Sunday (I had an overnight guest and we slept in).
Monday: 78' aerobic run through two surrounding villages. A nice tour!
Today: Got up late and a bit groggy. :-) Did an easy 40'. Back to bed? Football? Decisions, decisions....
Happy New Year, all!
20:00 on the treadmill, 10 minutes at 140BPM 10 minutes at 150BPM but increased the incline to 3.5% (at the end) adding one increase every 3 minutes over the last 10 minutes, too. Pressed for time today.
I found the club's gym was empty so I went over to the NAUTILUS bench machine (since the place WAS empty) and did the following just for kicks:
3x150 lbs (1 minute rest after each set)
3x170 lbs
2x190 lbs
1x200 lbs
1x220 lbs
1x240 lbs
...bit of a surprise. What % of actual free weight does a NAUTILUS poundage work out to?
I ran a very low key 5 mile hangover race. It was my longest and hardest run for months and my injured foot held out so a good start to 2008!
Today (unsure if I were going to run at all today), for 1:02:36. An easy pace most of the way, more wind seems like all the week!!! AHR 138 MHR 150

Been off for 6 days now with a cold. :(

I hate being sick...it's so depressing

5 minutes at 148 BPM then

Since quitting the pushups my sciatica has totally disappeared. Go figure. The PF has been less noticeable on the treadmill, too.
Second run: 50-minutes with a much slower runner. Running with slower people always leaves me sore.
No run yesterday, planned off day.
No run today, head cold, don't know about tomorrow.
