USA did that without Hall or Norman, though Norman hasn't been running well. We're deep - use the best relay guys. If some of the individual event guys are also the best relay guys, fine, but don't feel obliged like in the 4x1
USA missed the WR by .14. Continental records for Botswana, GB, and Japan.
Absolutely awesome seeing the Benjamin vs Tebogo showdown on the last leg.
4x4 is king. screw the brojos and their desire for 4x1 to take over finishing spot. they are doing it WRONG next year
Damn, places 2-6 all national records.
Between the semis and finals, anchor legs have included: 43.03 - 43.13 - 43.19

Seconded.

Rai’s anchor leg was beautiful but Deadmon coming through with a mid 43 was the difference for USA.
And shout out to Vernon for killing the 2nd leg again
How does a country of 2.5 million find 4 guys who can run a sub 44 relay split?. An all star team from Texas or Florida wouldn’t touch them

Do that in the 4x1 too. The goal is to win the race, not give people a shot at multiple-medal glory.

Sucks for McEwen but two PBs and a silver is a great achievement.
Absolutely. He’s 28, and this is his first outdoor medal. He did his best. I’m proud of my fellow Mc.
So close to the WR- 2:54.43 to 2:54.29.
The grown @ss men who had to take a backseat to the teenager stepped up big time. Dedmon, Bailey and Norwood deserve their flowers. And Rai is him.

Tebogo too many races, legs not as fresh as Rai.
Rai has the 400 h last night. Tebogo had fresher legs go cope
Kerr finally olympic gold🤣🤣🤣

I'm sorry to say it, but Gudaf Tsegay is just plain STUPID
Hey, take it easy, Habesha. No need for such harshness when she still represents your country. Allow Kenyans to continue cooking her for you on social media for trying to get Faith DQed.
After that 400h - Cockrell better be on this final team. I’d love to see Sydney split a 47 low and realize she is the destined one to take down Kochs 47.60 open 400 WR. It’s time for it to go.
Norwood 8/10s faster than his open 400 PR, which is on the very top end of what should be expected. He is a perfect teammate.
total GAMER.
I have a theory that Norwood finishes 4th on purpose at the trials so he can get more medals running all the relays
Norwood making up a pretty big deficit, too. Real team effort.
