False. Booby spends ample time featuring AA girls. More than anyone else.
The problem is that AA's team drops off at their #5, and Niwot has girls ten deep that are competitive. AA has results that look faster than Niwot, but that was at Liberty Bell and Niwot's were at St. Vrain. and the St Vrain course is quite a bit more challenging that the Liberty Bell (you know, the net downhill course that it is) one is.
Factoring that in puts Niwot ahead on AA.
I mean in the national rankings, not Bobby's coverage. AA and Niwot faced a very good Mountain vista team on back to back weekends. My view is that AA's win over vista had much more breathing room, then they beat a high quality field at Woodbridge by 100 points.
Where are Anna Prok and Bella Nelson? I think Vista placing Keegan Edwards in the mix will be a talented group. Better than Niwot, but not anywhere near Air Academy. They will win it all.

I think Ventura should be 7th based on how close they were to Great Oak last race
Considering that California, Southwest, and Northwest placed their teams 1-7 at nationals last year, realistically no team should be ranked in the top 10 that isn’t from these 3 regions unless your name is Southlake Carroll, Christian Brothers Academy, Belen Jesuit Prep, Austin Vandegard.
Prove yourself. The results from last year speak for themselves. Ventura should be 7th San Clemente 10th.

I would also add to this is that it was Cali and Southwest 5th team that couldn’t go to NXN but went to go 1-2 at runninglane

yeah these cali teams are good but they have no depth past their 5. just one guy has a really bad day or gets injured and its all over for them, which tends to happen to about half of cali teams that go to nxn and run in a new environment that isn't sunshine and hard dirt. Belen and Jesuit la already have guys injured but they have enough depth to cover it. as a cali runner yes cali has been pretty dominant in the past but I think its important to stay modest this season as we aren't as strong as we were in the past without doug soles and sean brosnan. southwest is far better than us this season with american fork and herriman

Are you really a California runner because 99.9% of people from California would never ever refer to themselves as a “Cali” runner. It is usually a tell tale sign its someone from the Midwest or east coast because they heard it in a Biggie Smalls song.
Dana Hills will be in this mix once their big transfer starts racing. Hoping some top out of state teams will come to Clovis Invitational this year to go up against our top teams

Byron Grevious and Jimmy Wischusen haven’t raced yet. Their varsity teams haven’t raced yet.

patrick koon too, some states start season early so this is only based on people who dropped great performances very early on. I will update it, don't worry!

San Clemente and Ventura are not only 5-deep, but also very senior heavy, and do not have much depth on JV, so this year it’s looking to be a “last dance” for both of these teams for at least a couple of years, just like it was for Newbury Park last year except NP will never be up there again
I remember watching a Great Oak video (when Doug Soles was there) and he was saying that the problem was they could not get sand in California even though one of his runners requested to have some practice in sand to get ready for NXN course conditions. So they had to buy sand from somewhere so they could practice on it

shively and 2 others broke course record at roy griak. individuals have some very fast runners in heartland it looks but these teams aren't strong like the ones at woodbridge but its still early season. heres top 5 all-time at roy griak
Place Runner Time 1 Clay Shively 15:23.9 2 Sam Scott 15:25.7 3 Robert Mechura 15:28.1 4 Obsa Ali 15:30.8 5 Noah Breker 15:31.10
their top team in the heartlands would finish around the same place as rock canyon while the top 3 individuals could be between fast horse and shively could be with noonan thats my guess we will see what speed ratings look like i could be wrong but thats what my data points are saying
