All roads lead back to Benghaaaazi. Lynch clearly overstepped some boundaries in her conduct. Of course, any "obstruction" would have been at tail end of an unprecedented, years-long investigation that had yielded no damning evidence whatsoever and whose purpose was clearly naked partisanship rather than oversight. Again, where were the Republican calls to look into the 22 MILLION "lost" bush emails? Where are the Republicans concerned about the Trump administration's blatant mishandling of classified information and obvious obstruction of justice?
You all go ahead and rehash this for the upteenth time. In the meantime, oh, look, it seems the Russians WERE, in fact, able to alter voter rolls.
First we were told that they didn't play a role in affecting the election whatsoever (probably just some fat guy on his couch).
Then we were told that, yes, the Russians did hack the DNC, but it's absurd to imagine that they did anything beyond that (even though we know that our voting software is horribly outdated and obviously vulnerable).
Then we found out that okay, yes, they hacked voting systems in 39 states and stole voter data, but it's incredibly unlikely that they had any success in altering voter information or changing the actual vote tallies.
Now we find out that they were, in fact, able to alter voter information and that Congress is now looking into whether the Russians shared the voter info they stole with the Trump campaign (of course they did). For his part, Trump himself continues to lie and call the very idea of Russian interference a "hoax".
Meanwhile, Republicans are deflecting with more EMAILS and are in an all-out sprint to shove as much wealth upwards as they possibly can before it's too late. McConnell even had disabled people in wheelchairs who were opposed to his Death Bill hauled off by the Capitol police. Trump supporters are completely fine with all of this (they'd much prefer a healthcare bill far worse than this one already is, but they'll take what they can get in the end), because they would literally rather die than admit that liberals were right all along about them being dupes.
