went out for a 40 min run at 9:30 AM here in Houston. It was 85 out, 92 heat index. In other words- shitty.
Yesterday, 9 miles incl 2 x 3000 w/400j @ 3:25/km - tried to get out before the heat, but failed. Today I ran 8.5 incl 4 with my wife and 3 at a moderate aerobic pace (6:40ish in the freakin' heat). Next Wednesday I'll race 5000. Hoping for decent weather and a good field.

My run; For 44:36. From point A - point B with a lot of extra distance. AHR 139 MHR 154 moderately easy pace with a gentle increase to finish up.
No run today but I still feel like I'm getting faster ... dropped 10 pounds in the last 30 days. I'm getting SKINNNNYYYYYY again!
2 mile recovery run at easy pace. It's getting hotter and hotter here in MA, today it's over 98 with humidity. I took a long 3 hr bikeride tuesday, trying to ease back into training since my legs didn't get too much of a workout at that ultra that got canned. Thanks for the wish of luck next time "victoria, b.c., canada, runner". And to "Yank", yeah, I guess thats true, better safe than sorry.
none today, 42 min yesterday with a nice pick up last 15 min...hot muggy evening.
7 miles of hilly wonderful trails as soon as I can get out of the office.
I think it was HIM. :)

My run:
For 24:53, easy for first 15 min., hard up hill, strong finish. AHR 137 MHR 161
Sunday (yesterday) no run.
Today; 47:01 generaly easy running, AHR 130 MHR 138.
Today:
27:53. Out for 15:18, was going to be out & back, cut it a little short, stomach problems. Made return in 12:35, solid run, strong finish. AHR 133 MHR 154.
Back on the roads for an easy 20 minutes to test things. No problems...we'll see how it feels tomorrrow.
25 min today...still felt good. I think I'm back!
20' hilly run followed by 2 x 400 all out, then 20' easy
four miles. I have this stupid knee issue that I'm trying to get rid of. Wasn't bad.
Today's run didn't go as planned. Wanted 8 400s and 8 200s but doing them in the afternoon heat didn't work well. did 8 quarters but that was all. hoping for a good five mile race on sunday.
A nice 37:44 with no pain or other problems. Top notch.
