Gobbledygook? Is that the best you can do? I’m used to you dismissing claims that have been fact checked a documented with blanket claims of “talking points” or even “disinformation.” But gobbledygook hits a new low of low-effort. Should I call your response “gookelygob” and leave it like that
Republicans made the vaccine a political issue? Cite your source, not your bias, and you might have an argument. Did the Trump administration work closely with social media outlets to make sure that anti-vax claims were promptly removed so that people wouldn’t see them, in clear violation of the First Amendment? Such that the case, Missouri v McCarthy was heard by the Supreme Court? No…that was the Biden administration.
You conveniently ignored my clip of our Vice President saying she wouldn’t take what she referred to as the “Trump vaccine” before it was released. I get that it seriously undermines your argument about Dems always being pro-vaccine and right about their policy. But if you think it’s a talking point or “gobbledygook” then you are dodging the question. And I noticed. Hope you noticed, too. Now you have no excuse, at least.
calling Americans “dumb” because they disagree with you or do not agree with your policies is an extremely bad look for you, as you are both better educated and more fortunate than most Americans. And look how you spend your time: ragging on the GOP, Trump, and his supporters, than feigning concern when they die. Do you honestly not have anything better to do with your time?
edit: to be fair, here is your first hit on the bing search you used to backup your clam that Covid hit the GOP harder:
I’m gonna set aside the obvious issue that NPR is not a neutral outlet. Here are obvious problems with the report:
* It includes party affiliation with health outcomes. Who you vote for is nobody else’s business, and while (totally unbiased) researchers here were able to include this information in their report, they did so while violating their subject’s right to privacy, including medical privacy.
* The vaccination status of the decedent’s was unknown (it had to be inferred by overall vaccination rates in the county. That is height scientific nor accurate.
* The study show minimal difference in outcomes between Democrats and Republicans n the first year, but shows a slight increase in poor outcomes for registered republicans in year two: the “excess death rate” (a completely subjective and made up statistic Is around 18% for Dems in year two and 25% for Republicans in year two. This is reported as “43% worse outcomes form the GOP!!!” Which is incredibly misleading
* The study itself acknowledges its own limitations.
You cited it as factual proof that all GOP counties fared worse (when it looked at exactly two f them) and flatters yourself with mock outrage, and now apparently doubling down on the idea that anyone who disagrees with you is stupid.
