Th e famous Running Dogg workout seems to have gone from page 15. How do you do it Running Dogg? ;) D'ya send the brojos a personal request or something. Thats good I gotta hand it to ya.
Hey Running Dogg:
Did you do a workout a few weeks ago involving eight 800s all between 2:06 and 1:59? Yes or No, please.
:)
Today was my scheduled day off, but it was overcast and cool so went out for 35 minutes, then drills, and 2 x bench. (Tomorrow hoping to hit the beach!)
Today:
Steady for 18:15, tempo pick up for 5:21, recovery 0:39, hard up hill 4:01, recovery 0:56, *hard in for 3:39, recovery to finish run 3:18. Total 36:11. AHR 144 *MHR 168.
did a 6-5-4-3-2-1(minutes) fartlek with half the time of the previous effort for rest. total of ten miles in 64 minutes, then came back in the afternoon for a 5 miler (36 minutes) as a shake out, good day!
Um, what happened to my last post?
Oh well. It said I kept things to an easy hour today after yesterday's crash. I'll try to hit it hard again tomorrow.

I thik the mods are on to running dog and in the stampede to delete his many obviously trolling posts some other posters innocently got in the way.
Road work today with coach out of town. The plan calls for a 50 minute run with 10 1-minute pickups in the middle. Lifting to follow. Nothing special.

The troll Skuj and someone pretending to be me (I wonder who that was?) put forth another unwarranted attack on me yesterday. Those posts and a few other innocent ones were removed. Sorry. (I think Skuj has been banned again, so it should be quiet around here for a while.)
Good runs to everyone today! Let's hear about them!
go die skujins

Yet another lie from Andrew Skujins designed to make me look bad.
I like the question from "Simple Question, Simple Answer". It seems to have been overlooked.
1:03- 9 1/2, felt good, race 5k saturday
Today's run went as planned (see above). Felt fast and easy. Optimism is high.
Skuj, welcome back. Too bad your attempted return of yesterday didn't take. I guess your "farewell" was another false alarm. Oh well, we should know better by now, eh?
As for the question, my recent workouts have mostly been posted on this thread. Read back through the thread for more information on them.

Running Dogg, you may be unaware that a lot of editting has recently occurred on this epic thread. So, again, and for clarification, Running Dogg: Did you do a workout a few weeks ago involving eight 800s all between 2:06 and 1:59? Yes or No, please.

D.Skuja never knows when to quit, Running Dogg. As if that wasn't bad enough, he stole my handle too. I'd been posting at letsrun as 'Skuj' ever since 2006.
Check out my website:
www.skuj.comhttp://skuj.com/gallery/meI ran 25.8 miles. Then 700 meters more.
I ran a marathon today!
Sprained calf at work. No run today. I hurt this same leg last year in the same spot after some Long Slow Distance stuff, then trying to play hoops with kids half my age.
Time to learn an object lesson.
'knock knock knock': Mortality calling.
Arrrrrgggghhhhh.
Hard hill workout today: 4 miles, 10 x 300 m hill pretty quick, 3 miles.
No run yesterday.
Today, ran for 35:13. Same route taken two weeks ago, the 'heatwave day'. AHR 140, MHR 156. Kicked in for finish.
Just an easy 6 today. Tuesday I ran a hard tempo in a 5000 race - paced a friend 6.5 laps at 17:15 pace, then picked up the pace and ran the last 6 a hair faster than 16:00 pace. Felt good. Hard, but good. Only one race left on the horizon - 5000 in two weeks.
