Final report from Derek of Marathon Investigation, is out. He says Ashley Paulson's race was legit.
We've closed this thread to new posts. Please discuss this topic in a new thread given the fact she just won the race outright in 2023. Does that mean that the 2022 cheating allegations definitely have no merit?

Yep.
He went to great lengths to dot every i and cross every t. It is amazing how well things check out in her favor.
Also, Ashley and her crew must have been tremendously cooperative, providing him with data, answering follow-up questions, providing receipts (literally), and so on.

Well she ran the Deseret News Marathon yesterday and won with a 2:57 and took home $1000 of prize money. Pretty suspicious to run that immediately after Badwater in my opinion.
If she ran 3:30, people would say, “See! She cheated. She’s slow.”
She ran about twenty minutes slower than her best. All that proves is that she recovers pretty fast. Good for her.

All I wanted was for Derek to retract the story if he couldn't wrap up a proven case last week. What he did was good enough, maybe better.
