am i the only one who is wondering how training went this week?
I am here, garminator, et. al. Glad you are interested in how things have been going. Two weeks now since NCR, and I am feeling good. My training has been light and nice, going out only every other day, and this always seems to be a good formula for recovery for me, whether after a big race or coming off of an injury.
Someone asked if I am hammering every run. Well, after some easy running, I was feeling good and thus a tad strong on Wednesday, and yesterday I put down the hammer some in an eight-miler...7:41, 7:19, 7:19, 7:08, 7:06, 6:49, 6:49, 6:34.
7:30 sounds right...thanks for you comments. I agree with your perspective. There are many good comments here, and they will not be forgotten. I have been going over htings, and have done most of my planning for my next race...which is the NYC Half.
Thus, I have taken Er's advice and am doing a spring half marathon, and then probably a full in the fall, or perhaps I may follow the half in the spring with a full.
I will look to get through winter in one piece, and hope to be ready in the spring. I think my training plan is sensible, and I may post some specifics.
All the best...
