the right wing lie machine at play. They manage to fool the rubes every single time. Don't be a rube.
In the aftermath of the attack, Elon Musk and right-wing figures, including Roger Stone, Dinesh D'Souza, and Steve Bannon, pushed misinformation about the attack.[61] Musk promoted the conspiracy theory that Paul Pelosi was drunk and fighting with a male prostitute,[61][62][63] while Stone, D'Souza, and Bannon implied that the attack could be a "false flag."[61] Musk's promotion of the conspiracy theory occurred days after his acquisition of Twitter; he deleted his tweet hours later, after it had already amassed 24,000 retweets and 86,000 likes.[61]
you guys are connecting the dots. Unfortunately, the wrong dots.
But don't worry. You can add this one to Pizzagate, Q, 9-11 trutherism, birtherism, election denying, 'hillary is dying' and Benghazi!!!! You defiinitely have more fun than the democrats.
Lol...And you bought the Trump/Russia hoax for 2 years...
Certain facts will never go away no matter how much media elites deny them. That Mueller charged no Americans with election conspiracy crimes is the most fatal.
Call me crazy but left-wing nudist prostitutes don't have political hitlists and blogs spouting the Republican line.
Once again, the right wing media machine convinces dummies and angry people of lies.
CBS News:
The suspect in the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul Pelosi had a list of people he wanted to target, law enforcement sources briefed on the investigation confirmed to CBS News. David Wayne DePape, the man accused of beating Paul Pelosi with a hammer inside his San Francisco home overnight on Friday, may have been planning to attack more people, the sources said.
Pelosi Statement after Republican Scalise shooting:
“This morning, the U.S. Congress suffered a despicable and cowardly attack. My thoughts and prayers are with Whip Steve Scalise and the others wounded, Capitol Police and staff, and their families. “We are profoundly grateful for the heroism of the Capitol Police, whose bravery under fire undoubtedly saved countless lives. On days like today, there are no Democrats or Republicans, only Americans united in our hopes and prayers for the wounded.”
Trump Statement after Pelosi Assault:
"The Witch Hunt continues, and after 6 years and millions of pages of documents, they've got nothing. If I had what Hunter and Joe had, it would be the Electric Chair. Our Country is Rigged, Crooked, and Evil - We must bring it back, and FAST. Next stop, Communism!"
After the Scalise shooting the media mobilized in lockstep to depoliticize an obvious political attack.
The corrupt FBI categorized it as "suicide by cop".
Now a crazy nudist hemp jewelry guy simply walks into the 3rd most powerful person on earth's home and the entire media declares that it's "obvious that the nutjob was a Republican operative.
Can a nudist not be a Republican? Does hemp jewelry make you a Democrat?

Moran. Mueller found tons of illegal and unethical conduct in the Trump administration and his investigation resulted in multiple indictments and convictions of dozens of Republicans and their Russian colleagues.
key findings of the Mueller report:
The Special Counsel investigation uncovered extensive criminal activity
Russia engaged in extensive attacks on the U.S. election system in 2016
The investigation “identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign” and established that the Trump Campaign “showed interest in WikiLeaks's releases of documents and welcomed their potential to damage candidate Clinton”
Special Counsel Mueller declined to exonerate President Trump and instead detailed multiple episodes in which he engaged in obstructive conduct
Congress needs to continue investigating and assessing elements of the Mueller Report
This entire thread is a sad commentary on the utter lack of civility and the divisiveness that has befallen U.S. politics in the last 10-15 years. Almost no one can simply agree to disagree anymore. Non-partisanship has seemingly become extinct. I'm old enough to remember when neither party would think of resorting to the wild extremes of rhetoric that characterizes virtually every aspect of the political landscape today.

Come on - read some history of US politics. Politics have always been very very harsh and mean. It's the nature of the beast. You are being a bit naive here.
What might have changed is that the very high up officials in the GOP have signed on to DJT's jackassery rather than usually leaving it to their lower-ranked soldiers in the past.
Trumpers have never read the Mueller report. If they had they would be totally embarrassed that they ever supported Trump and his inner circle of criminals, liars and traitors. They truly believe the report "exonerated" Trump because the right wing ecosystem has engrained it into their brains. Just like the big lie. Then they come on boards like this and pretend the Russia, russia, russia line that Trump fed them is some kind of gotatcha ownership of the libs.

The problem seems less an ability to "agree to disagree" than it does an ability to agree on some minimum threshold of civil behavior.
One would think that breaking into someone's home and bashing them with a hammer is unacceptable regardless of the politics of the person getting bashed and would be universally condemned without qualification, but here we are.

It is important to realize that violence and cruelty is not a side affect of Trumpism. It is a feature. The deeper you dive into Trumpism and the pseudo religious/ political sermons that Flynn, Stone, Gorka, Bannon are peddling the more this becomes clear.

As a non American I find these type of discussions both fascinating and disturbing at the same time. People seem to tie their entire personalities to the political beliefs in a way that you just don't see down here. Yeah there are conservatives and progressives here as well (both of which would sit to the left of the Democrats) and there is some snark, but not nearly as much vitriol as you see on literally every singly post, tweet etc.
You just don't see in American politics (and the same could be said for both sides) 'oh geez, we really f'ed up by electing X, let's not do that again'. The default reaction seems to be to justify the decision at any cost and go even deeper down the rabbit hole. Just once I'd like there to be a popular opinion that they screwed up, it won't happen again and here's what we are going to do to ensure it won't. Obviously I'm not the first to think this but clearly the advisors and campaign directors know that gutter politics is more effective, and I hate it. It just leads to extremism.
While I personally don't agree with many of their policies, I don't have an issue with Republican politics as such. Balance is essential. But from an outsiders perspective the people such as Trump, MTG, Boebert, Cruz, Hawley etc simply aren't Republicans. I don't what category you'd put them into (especially Trump) but it just seems quite surreal that these people have been accepted into mainstream conservatism. By all means vote for them, as is your right, and I wouldn't think any less of anyone who does, but it seems disingenuous to align yourself to a conservative ideology while doing so.
Ultimately I can see the GOP being fractured into at least 2 separate parties which is obviously going to result in the Democrats being in power for the foreseeable future. We've seen it here in Australia this year, the conservative party got absolutely destroyed, in large part due to people who would ordinarily identify as economically conservative electing to run as independents. These independents created a quasi alliance/party and will pretty much ensure that our 'right wing' party will have an extremely long time in opposition. From a laypersons perspective, it really looks like the same could happen over there.
Hunter and Fauci will be the first to be investigated in 2023.
This post right here is a nice snapshot into a typical Trumper's thinking pattern. To be a Trumper is far less about opinions on policy or direction of the country. Trumpism is about revenge and settling a score. If you listen to a Trump rally it has nothing to do with passing laws or programs for the betterment of the country. It is 2+ hours of anger, grievances and settling scores.
Question: what will so-called "liberals" with no empathy the mentally or struggling immigrants say if there's no video of a "break in"?
What if DePape, who is presently innocent of all charges (and where is his mugshot btw?), is both "crazy" AND was LET IN to the Pelosi manse?
question: what if the right wingers actually have to rely on the facts of the case rather than whatever fun conspiracy their media puppet masters can dream up?
Does the failure of every right-wing conspiracy theory mean anything to you? Anything? Or you just want to have some funs so you hang on for the next one despite being wrong every time?
Yes, I care about revenge. I want affirmative action to be banned (SCOTUS is hearing it today) and reparations paid to people denied from their rightful college because of it.

Are you honestly going to claim the hemp jewelry nudist crowd at Berkley isn't a left wing group by nature?
They interviewed this idiot's "life partner" from prison and she said she was very progressive and David agreed with her. And then he went crazy.
The guy isn't a right wing guy no matter how hard the media tries to spin it.
