For the record, by virtually every category we have to measure a human being, trump is in the lower 1%.
a truly awful human being who has caused untold suffering to his family and to his nation.
a catastrophic human being in both public and private spheres.
but I’m old so I understand why people vote for Trump. People vote for very very bad people because of charisma and humiliation. It’s a very old story that I understand well.

Hillary is absolutely awful. Biden is not a good guy.
Your argument completely falls on it's face when your candidates are as bad or worse than Trump.
Trump is a greedy lying serial adulterer, business and cancer charity fraudster and rapist who peeps on teens, pays for sex, grabs p***y, and tried to overthrow our election.
So strange that people don’t like him. They must be deranged. TDS!

Hillary is indeed awful.
Biden is awful.
Trump is awful.
John Edwards is awful.
Bill Clinton is awful.
Mendendez is awful.
They are ALL awful but some just hide it better than others.

Is that all you got? Just ranting on here 24/7 on horrible Trump is? You do INDEED have TDS.
How diseased is your bubble that you can't even admit Hillary Clinton is a horrible human being.
HRC is not a horrible human being. She has spent virtually her entire life serving people and her nation with honor.
Winston, from his deep dives into the National Inquirer and time spent reading Steve Bannon, will claim HRC harassed bill’s women. There is of course no proof of this - it’s just hearsay and GoP Bs.
During the second presidential debate, Donald Trump responded to revelations that he made derogatory remarks about women with a full-throated charge that Hillary Clinton had attacked women who had accused her husband of sexua...

I say this lovingly but agip seems to have a bad case of the TDS. Reminds me of my Dad who will flip out at anything Trump related. Absolutely hates the guy and simply cannot understand why anyone would vote for him
Coming from a non-Trumper (I think), your comments utter perplex me.
1) Why wouldn't an American "flip out" about so many of the things that Trump says and does. And much more importantly, "flip out" that he's the leader of one of only 2 parties? And very likely the next president. Aside from slavery and a VERY small number of other things, I can't think of a better thing to "flip out" over in the history of this country.
2) Why wouldn't one absolutely hate him? No public figure in (at least) modern American history has given us more reason. And it's not even close.
3) You CAN understand why anyone would vote for him? Vote for him over a run-of-the-mill typical D politician? Even more so, you can understand why R primary voters went with him, AGAIN, over other Rs?
It's easy to understand why people vote for him. They talk about why they want to vote for him incessantly. All you have to do is listen.
People are fed up with the system. They hate politicians. They hate the government. Trump has the aesthetic quality of a populist disruptor. He's gonna drain the swamp. He's gonna implement policies that help real working Americans. He cares about us.
It doesn't matter if he actually cares or actually help the real working American. All that matters is that people believe that. He'll cut them a check for $800 and they can go to sleep happy at night knowing a real patriot is in charge. They love to hate liberals more than they enjoy literally anything else in their life and it makes them feel a little less weak and small, which they are. We all are.
So I think it's easy to see why people absolutely adore Trump and buy into the cult. I think it becomes Trump Derangement Syndrome when you start letting it affect you personally. It's not helpful to you to be angry at things outside of your control. The best thing you can do is focus on making yourself and the people around you happier. At the end of the day, we are incredibly privileged to be Americans. We don't really have to deal with the consequences of any of this stuff. I would understand being more upset if you were say, transgender, but it's a little silly if you're a well off white dude getting all worked up over it in my opinion.
The NYC prosecution is really about Trump’s MO —lying. He’s a matryoshka doll of mendacity. He lies, lies some more, then lies about the lies he’s told. To be sure, all his criminal cases involve lies—about the 2020 election, about the military secrets he stole. “But the alleged lies in People v. Trump strike at the core of his moral putrescence—and Trump knows it.”

What a bunch of garbage this is. Trevor - your credibility is about shot right now. Do better.
Here is the mob boss subtly telling his guy not to flip:
EXHIBIT SHOWN - TRUMP TWEET (4/21/18) ABOUT MAGGIE HABERMAN/NYT: The New York times and a third rate reporter named Maggie Haberman, known as a Crooked H flunkie who I don’t speak to and have nothing to do with, are going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will “flip.” They use…non-existent “sources” and a drunk/drugged up loser who hates Michael, a fine person with a wonderful family. Michael is a businessman for his own account/lawyer who I have always liked & respected. Most people will flip if the Government lets them out of trouble, even if… …it means lying or making up stories. Sorry, I don’t see Michael doing that despite the horrible Witch Hunt and the dishonest media!

The prosecution's star witnesses are a convicted liar and a wh*re who's changed her story 10 times and made a million dollars off of lying about Trump.
The common thread here is actually that the left lies constantly and will do absolutely anything to hold on to power.

democracies die, hunter, and patriots get really sad when it happens. and then everyone suffers.
that's what America is deciding. If it should work its way out of its democratic experiment and surrender it to authoritarians and a classic corrupt strongman.
You can say 'if you have money you'll be ok' but that's only a 'probably.' Countries go to heck after putting people like trump in charge. Could happen here. He's said he'll terminate the constitution and make the DOJ a tool of retribution. He says he'll dissolve or weaken NATO. Seems like a thing citizens of a republic should worry about.
