Good support along the course :)
If only Kipchoge had heeded advice to give up knitting, and he wouldn't have that stitch.
That tunnel looked exactly like the one on mass ave at mile 25.5

Awesome atmosphere; it's great!
Kipruto is taking the chase group ahead now.
i cant wait to hear what all the athletes have to say about the course, but particularly Kipchoge. This will be his last Olympics and he's crawling right now. I still expect it'll be something inspiring though <3
He’s increased the lead a bit, 19 seconds
Tola lead still growing but I expect chase pack to make a move shortly - Don't wanna leave it all to last 2 miles.
No sight of Mantz or Young going into 35K - think The Wall totally broke them.
14:02 5k split for Tola

He's gonna get run down
The chase pack could actually work against them if they start racing for silver. I think Tola looks great and is on his way to a 2:06:xx win.

Incredibly, Kipchoge is still marching on in 71st. His 25-30k split was 21:05.
Is there a site that has tracking info? How are you getting that? I can’t find anything

I’m sure it matters to him that he not have a dnf if at all possible. I think he’d rather be dfl.
Tola and Kipruto both are adidas athlete. Nike goes home devastated ?
14:02 split??

Mantz/Young 10th/11th exactly 1 minute off leader

Even Korir is just ahead of Gramps.
Defending berlin champ would’ve been guaranteed top 10 and probably in medal contention if they didn’t use this stupid gimmick course. But these are the same people who made the distance swimmers swim in the seine, so what can you expect.
90% of these guys have never run a course half as hilly as this. Imagine changing any other event in such a drastic way for no reason

Tebello Ramakongoana will win gold. He was 4th in Budapest and has completely flown under the radar. This course suits him very well. You heard it here first.
Props again to this prediction. This guy none of us had heard of is 7 seconds out of 2nd place at 35k.
Sedjati under investigation. L'Equippe says searches were conducted by police in Olympic Village.

USA 400m Trials winner Kendal Ellis pulled from women's 4x400m only minutes before the race.
