Another genius tells us that people recover from COVID. You destroyed us with facts and logic. I don't understand the thought process of people who think this is a convincing form of argument.
"Yes COVID is usually fine for young people, but there are many examples of long term effects. Given the high safety of the vaccine, avoiding a the change of these long term effects seems wise. As as example, here's an elite college athlete who struggled with long-term COVID symptoms."
"Oh yeah? Here's an athlete who recovered from COVID just fine! Checkmate liberals."
I cannot comprehend the brain of someone who thinks that's a pertinent response.
No there not many examples. A select skewed sample set....maybe. Dude, kidsare getting autoimmune diseases from covid either.

Anyway, if this is in fact the pandemic of the unvaccinated, why do the vaccinated folks even care about those that are unvaxed-Makes no sense to me. If you are vaccinated, you shouldn't have a care in the world. Worst case you get the delta variant, which should present symptoms no worse than a cold, or perhaps a minor flu-as that is what the experts say. If you are vaccinated and you are worried about the unvaxed folks, than you don't have a lot of faith in the vaccine's efficacy.
Because hospitals are full of unvaccinated people and the vaccine is not perfectly protective.
Imagine being vaccinated, getting a rare breakthrough that results in severe disease, and having to be driven around the state to find a bed because unvaxxed losers are taking up all the space.
95% protective against severe disease is outstanding but not 100%. I don't see what so hard about this.
Even if 100% of people were vaccinated, that scenario you described - rare breakthrough that results in severe disease - could still happen.
No one on planet earth can be 100% protected.
You could get unlucky and the hospital beds are at full capacity for something else and youd still die.
Your obsession with 100% vaccination is what leads us to have these scary policies around the country.
Vaccine mandates whether from a company or a government are evil.
You have shown in multiple threads that you are a facist, as evidenced by your support of society-wide COERCED vaccination. And punishment for those who choose to abstain.
You have shown that YOU are the fearmongerer, as evidenced by your repetition of the "650k" number of deaths (ostensibly) attributed to Covid.
You have shown that you are projecting your own sins onto us, by falsely claiming that we are the fearmongerers. Interesting tactic to distract readers away from yourself. It is he who talks about imminent death from covid that is the fearmongerer.

Don’t be so dramatic sheesh.
There’s no imminent death from COVID if you’re vaccinated. It turns it into something safer than other common respiratory diseases.
Of course vaccination is not 100% effective but it’s certainly good enough to prevent ICUs from being overrun in August. It’s only the unvaccinated causing that. I bet you can’t find a single time ICUs were full in the summer before COVID except perhaps 9/11 2001.
There’s no doubt the unvaccinated are prolonging the pandemic and keeping hospitalizations high. There’s no fear-mongering. That’s just facts and it’s tragic that innocent Americans are dying because there’s no space for them in ICUs.
If you are no ok with your employer mandating conditions of employment I suggest you move somewhere besides the USA. You might want to look up “at will employment” my friend. You’re deeply confused. The only coercion is employers choosing to provide a healthy and safe workplace.
I suspect that rage you feel is a bit of cognitive dissonance. You know you’re making an irrational and harmful choice. Your brain is telling you you’re being dumb. Hence these confusing emotions. Like a 14 year old boy dealing with hormones.

Because tyrants like you want to take isolated cases of elite athletes that are supposedly suffering from "Covid long-haul" - and use it as a fearmongering tactic to scare athletes to take the vaccine. Lol.
Far more athletes experience mild symptoms from Covid that easily self-resolved with no long-term complications or problems. So, yes I'm going to shove these "facts & logic" up yours as long as you keep fearmongering the snot out of this coronavirus to suit your vaccine tyranny agenda. And there are not many examples of long-term effects with young people - that's totally made-up BS propaganda by the Pharma/CDC Empire.
You can go back and look at the severe flu season of 2017-18 and see there were several cases of elite athletes dying from that flu strain and many more who suffered debilitating, long term effects. There wasn't any push for the flu shot back then - no coercion, no harassment, no fearmongering, no mandates or any BS like that. So, now we have a coronavirus that's hard on old, sickly, unhealthy, obese people and you want to fearmonger this to the young & healthy? Too freaking funny!
Btw, I had a Covid last year, recovered with mild symptoms and have no "long haul Covid" or whatever BS they want to label it as, and I'm a middle-aged cat. Lol.
Harambe = Liberal, Covid exaggerator, fearmongering vaccine tyrant with an agenda. 😉

Of course vaccination is not 100% effective.

You are correct that at will employment governs most of all employment contracts. However, similar to free speech, there are legal limitations to at will employment. You cant fire someone because of their skin color or religious affiliation.
Given the new data we have about vaccinated transmission, I support regulations that extend anti discrimination to vaccination status.
The only idea that is keeping these evil policies alive is the idea that an unvaccinated person could give it to someone else. But from what some PHDs are stating now, vaccinated people can transmit it too. The mRNA technology was not to designed to prevent transmission, but rather to mitigate the potency of being infected.
https://youtu.be/3uofVvdChVMI admit that you are right...at this point in time. Right now employers can force employees to put something in their body. (Let that sink in). But that doesnt make it right. A lot of people in the past were fired because of discriminatory reasons. My only hope is that we can someday come to our senses on this type of discrimination. Especially when there are alternatives to keeping the workplace safe: masking, distancing, screening, natural immunity tests, staying home when symptoms arise, herd immunity, working remotely

Why should that be a choice? If employers say you cannot choose to be gay or you will be fired, is that ok with you as well? People work ther whole lives building their way through their career and then it is just over because they disagree with our slave masters and loud stupid liberals who follow them? Dude, you are deluded. What if a compnay is anti-vax? Can that company now say that if you do get vaxxed you will lose your job? Is that ok as well? It is all about the most popular belief system, right?
Yessiree Bob wrote:

Yes...that's true. However, if an employee takes the vaccine against their will to avoid termination and suffer injury from the vaxx, they can sue the employer plus get workman's comp.
When these employees start suffering from serious adverse events and the lawsuits start flying, we'll see how eager these employers are in mandating the vaccine. There's already a major shortage of health care workers, particularly nurses, food service workers, low-wage workers at major retailers, etc. - they're not in a position to be terminating employees because of a vaccine refusal (why do you think Walmart is not mandating the vaxx for their workers? Most stores can barely keep a skeleton crew to keep the store in operation. Lol).
Should be an interesting 2nd half of the year for the economy.
At issue, Dale Saran, one of the plaintiff’s attorneys, told Military Times, is the Defense Department following its own rules.
Army Regulation 40-562 “presumptively exempts from any vaccination requirement for a service member that the military knows has had a documented previous infection,” according to the lawsuit.
A June 13 Army Medical Command information paper obtained by Military Times cites the same regulation and others before spelling out that the following is one of the authorized medical exemptions:
“Evidence of immunity based on serologic tests, documented infection, or similar circumstances.”
