I think Coevette and El Keniano should meet up and have a race. The brojo's should organise it and stream it live on letsrun so we could all see. We can take sides with whoever wins the race. You would have the maximum amount of pure hate between 2 letsrunners. It can be a 5,000m on the Rieti track(meeting point close to half way between Coevette -UK and El Keniano - Kenya).
Yes! This would be great to watch! Brojos, please organize this race, and make all of letsrun’s dreams become reality.
So a third member out of 21 Kenyan runners at the 2017 world championships has been caught doping?
And this latest guy has the same coach as the biggest star in Kenyan athletics - Kipchoge?
But there's nothing to see here?
But seriously, at what point do Kenya deserve to be banned? Do we get to the point where half of their top performers get busted every year and the show goes on?
I'm scratching my head as to why Kenya hasn't been suspended yet, and the only reason I can think of is because it would be politically incorrect for a white British head of the IAAF (and a Conservative to boot) to be kicking out a black African country.

Because thinking logically like that is racist.
I believe doping in pill ? obsessed America and science ? driven Western Europe is near UNIVERSAL. But how many have been caught in recent years? A few? No, NONE! ZERO! NADA! RIEN! NIENTE! They don’t even have the decency to throw in a some token busts to pretend their systems are working somewhat. Not a single doper in cultures where neighbourhood gyms are saturated pharmaceuticals? HA! Do me a favour.
Kenyan controls are clearly working. Your doping systems, on the other hand, are BROKEN evidenced by lack of results. And that’s the truth!

Kenya is ripe with corruption , "gifts" to doping testers , to political leaders stealing western tax payer aid money.

I'm up for it but only if El K agrees to be randomly tested for 6 months before and after - and NO TEA MONEY!
Otherwise, let's do a 5K relay - me and Subway vs El K and Said88.
You will be coached by rekrunner and El K by Canova. Brojo's will be holding up the finish tape

Huh? Have you been living in a cave or something?
Newsflash: Cyrus WON the Kenyan WC trials in 2017. That's big time and prime time in Kenya Nation. I betthe was signing autographs after the race, taking selfies with the youngsters, blowing kisses to the lovely Kenyan ladies, etc. I imagine he was quite a hometown hero after that great victory.
Please make sure you stay current on Kenyan running news before posting nonsense like that. ?
Newsflash: you know nothing about Kenyan t&f!!!! Who in Kenya really cares about the 5000 and 10000 anymore? Besides Paul Tanui you have two roadsters in Karoki and Kamworor and that's it. Winning the trials surely is very prestigious but nowadays the real Kenyan talents are either in the 800/1500 or the roads.
Just check the results on the World XC trials and the race itself.
Please make sure you stick your patronizing attitude where you see fit because all you seem to know about Kenya is what you read online.

You're really claiming that a guy who is ranked 2nd or 3rd in Kenya for the 5000 and reached the World Championship final is not a top Kenyan? Just because you've been overtaken at that distance by Ethiopia and Norway? You at least disagree with El K that there 'are over 1000 elite Kenyans'?
nowadays the real Kenyan talents are either in the 800/1500 or the roads.
Yeah, and they are getting popped in the 800/1500 every other week - 3 of the top twenty 800m runners from 2017 suspended last year.
Most of the other 5000 runners have had the sense to escape to the roads where they wont get tested nearly so much.
I hope people in the IAAF are reading this forum. If these 'Kenyans' here are for real, then they probably represent the true attitude of the Kenyan athletics community towards their massive doping problem.

No. Should also can ethiopia. They are Just more secluded and test even less. Also do you really think uganda has some kind of honor? Heck the only time the country is in the news its for corruption

Does Ethiopia actually have any sort of testing system? How can they be allowed to compete if not?
What is wrong is that race organizers around the world keep on inviting Kenyan and Ethiopian athletes to their races. They are just as much part of the problem as the athletes are and yet the race organizers are not being punished.

I agree, but at least the irrefutable evidence is there of endemic doping in Kenya.
Then again, it would seem unfair to ban Kenya and not Ethiopia and Uganda when it seems that (at gunpoint) Kenya is finally raising its testing standards to a minimal level resulting in these busts.
Hopefully now that Ethiopia is being forced to conduct regular WADA tests on its elite athletes, either busts there will happen or doping will be reduced.
I get the feeling that maybe Ethiopia hasn't been taken so seriously as a target for anti-doping because Kenyans are cheating in the flagship events such as the 800m and 1500m, but that hasn't been true for Ethiopians for a while. Now that the likes of Kejelcha are actually breaking El G EPO WRs, it's surely time to crack down there too.

It wasn't the IAAF that started shining the light on doping in Kenya. I'd say that Seppelt was instrumental in this. And Ethiopia wouldn't let a journalist roam as free there.
