6-8 hrs per night, if I wake up early I give myself about 30 min to fall back to sleep and if that doesn't work then I get up and plan a nap later, hate tossing and turning, sleep gets more difficult for the older coffee drinking runner

Bed by 9:00 at the latest. No alarm. Up by 2-3 AM and ready to go.
Natural supplements for sleep that won't leave you hungover- magnesium taurate, valerian, arginine.

I would be so embarrassed to admit that I sleep 11 hours a day. Like, you really don't have anything going on? Jesus Christ
You’re right that from the outside it may seem like a waste of time but Ben True is a professional runner of the highest level (world elite level) - running is the only thing that he does and so when he’s not running he takes the time to rest and recover, like the Kenyans.
I sleep not enough. I have such a bad habit. I can surf the net until 3 am. I especially hate myself for situations when I have to get up at 8 in the morning, and at 1 am I’m watching stupid videos on YouTube, then on the clock is 2 am, and I continue to watch videos. And then I think: “Well when it will be 2.15 and then I'll definitely go to bed”. After 3.00 I understand that I will just die tomorrow morning, but I continue to watch YouTube. I feel very stupid at such moments.
