Kelati goes to lead with 10 laps to go. 9 in lead pack.
Kelati hasn’t lost anyone but the pace has clearly quickened. 73.2 for the last 400. 1200 to go. Monson looks great.
Kelati with another injection of pace.
She is separating with Monson after a 72.4
Monson's got this. she's chilling
Kelati and Monson the clear top 2 after a 71.2 with 800 left
Monson should get on the rail...
Monson wins 15:31.26
Monson wins easily on the final lap. Great run for Kelati in second. 15:31 finishing time.
O’Keefe 3rd.
Looks like the Wisco crew is ready to rock n roll. At least Monson was. The announcers actually got something right: “Monson was just playing with Kelati”... correct. Let’s see if McDonald is on point for Fisher.
I like how many times Stones referred to Kelani being let in the race despite a false start while not mentioning how many times he himself misidentified lapped runners during the race.
Sounds like the ESPN crew has at least been reading some LetsRun or FloCrap. They know about Wisconsin going for the win with their “2 man” team and even got Ollie and Morgan’s names/events/nationalities correct.
Ok, this is a joke. Dan Obrien just said that Morgan McDonald will be anchoring the DMR for wisco.

Nevermind. The announcers are idiots. Haven’t read anything. They think Monson and McDonald are anchoring the DMRs.
Highly unlikely.

Haha beat me to it. Yes, embarrassing.
Kurgat to the lead with young
Is Fisher not running the 5,000m?
Young and McMillan lead. Still one big pack through 4 minutes.
No on has a pole as big as Mondo ;)
BYU duo appears to be keeping it relatively honest. No one is dropped, but it’s somewhat strung out. McDonald is chilling mid pack through 2k
