Wow, great race. But even more impressive is how lean and ripped she looks compared to how she looked at the NYC Marathon a year and a half ago. Very curious to see how this buildup goes for her. Excited to see her next Half or Marathon, too.

It also appears that, per Gwen’s Twitter, Infeld was unofficially pacing her.

No, it doesn’t appear as that. Do YOU even read/comprehend?
She seems to have endowments not usually seen on a woman that lean and fast.

Opps, six-month old child. She might be a bit lighter in 12-18 months?

Good God, dude. She recently gave birth and is doing the right thing to feed her child. Add it up, Moran.
15:17?
No hate, but not impressed. She wouldn't even be an avg african runner with that time. It's not even in the top 2000 5000m times.

But people are going to overhype and perpetuate this crap. Hell Pres Jipchirchir broke the women's half marathon record while pregnant.
Can't wait to see the africans make her bleed in her arrogant attempt to win gold in the olympics in 2 years....
Surprised no one has mentioned that this all out 5K race that Infeld barely won, would have kept the two of them just barely with the lead pack of yesterday’s 1/2 marathon for just 23% of that race. Impressed with Gwen’s time though for sure, Emily's, not so much in light of yesterday’s race.

Well, it's top 50 if you just look at indoor times. Still not a world beater, but very solid for anyone, let alone coming back after giving birth. Even if some people have done "better" while actually pregnant.
15:15 isn't bad, but is hardly Dibabaesque. However, I think she has the makings of a good triathlete.

Your self-loathing reeks from every word. Gwen has an Olympic gold medal and many world titles. How many does Jepchirchirchirchirchirchir have??
Butthurt much?
Decided to read this post instead of the one about the girl who flushed her comfort hamster down the airline toilet. Seems like fake news to me and I'm not very fond of marmots, mice, or snowflakes.
Also, wondering what Lucas Verzbicas is up to these days? The bike accident he had was how many years ago? Anyway, he is lucky to be alive.
Yes, it will be interesting to see how Gwen's running progression turns out.
Should we Expect Great Things?
Lastly, King Ches deserved a flash page for his performance and the deletion of the Uranus is a gassy giant thread proves that LRC is becoming over sensitive and losing its fun appeal.

Naw, man. I just like this whole arrogant and pompous act by her, with no pro experience in running. Like she is just going to wake up and be a world better. Not rooting for her, ever, and I can't wait to see the africans death pace her, and her so called going to win gold in 2 years.
maybe she makes the olympic team because we really only have 3 tops girls: hasay, huddle, cragg....Shalane is headed for retirement soon.
But every little bs time that she runs it's going to get hyped, and hyped. can't wait to see molly and hasay put her in her place.
Scorpion Runner is a never was never will be, and does not get invited to social gatherings.

I hear ya. And I hate arrogance. But for some reason, half the time I read Gwen as just going after it and putting lofty goals out there and I'm on her side, and half the time I read her and think the whole act is lame. Either way, I don't really wish her any ill will. And I do like seeing what happens when people dive all in.
But yeah, Huddle and Cragg and Hasay is where most of my interest is right now. Looking forward to Tokyo and Boston for sure.
Yeah ,she has gold in a poser sport, that no one gives an iota about. She is a poser just like those fat leotard triathletes, who are arrogant and self centered.
Molly has been blazing for years, no big press, which is sad. But I'm supposed to big press some poser triathlete because she decides to be a road runner?
Remember, she said gold in 2 years ....There will be no room for backtracking!
FOH.

Seriously, oh brave internet warrior hiding behind his keyboard... step up to the plate big man. Who are you, and what have you ever done that is noteworthy in endurance athletics? Typically nobody cutting down someone who has actually achieved something and is setting big goals. Do I think she's going to win Olympic gold? I really don't. But I am damn interested in seeing how this plays out and will be rooting for her.
You however.. your every post screams "little teeny nobody".

I noticed that too. Her shoulders are impressive.
Nope. I just dislike arrogance and fake glory.

I am a big fan of her endowments. Milk!
Per her response to a comment on her tweet (which is posted in this thread thanking Courtney and Emily), she is currently a free agent.
