I really hope to still be running then, but a series of recent stupid injuries has me questioning that possibility.

How does Amby know that you died if your daughter still picks up the mail ?
Aren’t you supposed to be dead then?
Same as the state statutes and their interpretation of "life sentence"

Not true at all. It's a contract that you paid for knowing that you would get it for life...as long as you live. No interpretation needed.

Not funny in the least. God is watching.
"God is s comic playing to an audience that's afraid to laugh." George Bernard Shaw
I think my "lifetime subscription" ended in the late 1980's...not that I minded by that point.
I didn’t expect this to get any traction. I was just trying to say that somehow it worked out. I was just trying to say that all worked out. Enjoy your Easter.
This is actually just a recent thought. When I stared the subscription running was a different animal. It was not a recreational activity. Hardly anyone ran just to run, but to race. Races were small and scattered throughout the states. It was not cool to be a runner. Many of us were stopped by the police for early morning runs. RW just evolved. How many even remember Distance Running News (RW’s start). It’s a business and those running magazines Long Distance Log didn’t survive. It’s not what I would prefer, I would rather see technology based articles, but I’m probably in the minority.

Oops! Voltaire. Not Shaw.
So you read more than just running?

I fit it in between baseball watching and hobbling around in running shoes.
I’m barely moving on my “runs” if you can call it that, but at least we’re still out there. I’m nursing multiple injuries from stupidity. I guess we or at least for me I never learned to grow up.
Perhaps I missed it, but did anyone mention that RWs new editor has already been canned, after just three or four issues?
Does anyone really care who the editor is? I’m more concerned with the content.

Or...
People who have faith laugh, and they laugh a lot.

If time doesn't change you, good luck with your salvation:)
I'm in my 60s actually. Good luck with your salvation as well.

Not growing up has been a goal of mine from as far back as I can remember. My latest attempt at doing that is ignoring the doctors who want me to get my knee replaced. I think the big difference for me now between running and walking is where I hld my arms while I'm doing either one. Good luck with the injuries.
