How does the idiot 'The Big Picture' know Hermens gave "Bekele an ounce of water"?, I haven't seen quantities mentioned by Canova or anyone else.

Have a look at the race video at the 40k mark where Bekele gets the fluid bottle handed to him by Jos Hermans. Bekele grabs the bottle and takes 3 micro swigs of fluid. just enough for it to almost evaporate in his mouth before he gets a chance to swallow. that's how I know it probably was about an ounce of fluid in it.
And why would Jos Hermans go through so much trouble to get him so little water? Or was it water?
Soon as he took in a couple drops of it he turned into a beast. Like David Banner turning into the incredible hulk. Bekele slowing down at the 40k water station to grab so little water gave him a phycological benefit to turn him into super human. OK!
And if Jos Hermans went through all that trouble to get to the 40k water station why wouldn't he give him something with a little bit of sugar? why would Renato Canova say it was water. Is plain water much better to replenish the body's energy stores than plain water? Think about it.

You have amazing abilities my friend.

Renato Canova answered those questions for you.
Conclusion, you're an idiot.
Dude, nobody trusts you any more, Renato.
That's pretty sad were gonna complain about people getting smarter and using common sense then smh
You've been answered by RC who is in the know with KB and JH, so questions for you, why the obsession?, what's the point you're trying to make? Just askin'.

Point is that there is probably a 99% chance that RC is telling a lie. Like he's trying to cover up the real truth... and read his posts on this thread.. sounds pretty defensive. What was in that bottle that bekele drank out of at 40k? Because to me it is highly unlikely to have been water. Where is WADA when you need them to grab the bottle bekele threw on the marathon course and run a test of the contents.. then again I suppose there wasnt a whole lot in it to begin with.. something just seems a bit crooked here.
Hermens is a good guy. All his athletes are squeaky clean including the one now running the federation.
Hermans KNOWS the 2 hour barrier can be broken. Too many lazy distance runners is the only reason it hasn't happened.

Please, please tell me you're trolling, if I know that I'll join in the fun.

wake up and smell the coffee
So that's what was in the bottle, coffee, isn't caffeine an approved stimulant?

If you scroll down on the page on the link URL shown below to the "5k PACE 3 Fastest Marathons" section.
The last couple sentences in the paragraph below that states:
"Yet his 6:08 for that final section was 20 seconds faster than Kimetto’s, which were run over the same Berlin course. It shows that Bekele still has immense finishing speed over a long distance."
I guess it shows that a few drops of water at the 40k mark gave Bekele a psycholgical advantage over Kipsang to put him in his place.
https://spikes.iaaf.org/post/marathon-numbers-and-stats?utm_source=iaaf.org&utm_medium=gridclickHaha, you really are an idiot, to take the last couple of k in isolation and not take in to account the preceding 5k splits confirms this.
Using your theory, Kimetto must have been having suspect drinks at 15k-14:26 for next split, 20k-14:32 for next split ,25k-14:30 for next split and a super suspect one at 30k-14:09 for next split, no wonder he ran 14:42 at 40k and 6:28, 20 seconds slower than Bekele, for the last 2k195mt.
Kipchoge coming off 14:29,14:34,14:54,14:42 ran 2k195mt a whole 8 seconds slower than Bekele, big deal. But, Bekele was coming off 14:45,14:43, 14:31, 14:54, i.e. Bekele ran 14 seconds slower overall than Kipchoge for those splits (20k) so it's not unexpected the fastest 5/10k runner of all time and multiple world cross country champ would be a whole 8 seconds (8 seconds, wow) faster than Kipchoge over the last 2k195mt especially as the preceding 5k split was 14:54, cruising for Bekele. It's been fun, but sorry, you're an idiot.

only an idiot would post link like that to support his conspiracy theory bit like a flat eather posting a photo of the earth taken from space to support their wacko theory that the earth is flat
Regardless of the time comparisons of Bekele, Kimetto and Kipchoge up until the 40k mark... The point is that Bekele was barely hanging in there up until 40k. Most people would say that he was hitting the wall if you want to call it that. So by Renato Canova saying that Jos Hermans raced to the 40k water station to give Bekele a few drops of water so that Bekele would have some sort of phycological benefit to overtake kipsang is a bunch of BS! It wasn't water in that bottle that Bekele drank at 40k it had to be something else and I'm quite certain that Renato Canova is telling a lie.
In the Tour de France. The rider at the back of the pelaton who's barely hanging on to the back of it.. doesn't take a swig of water and suddenly is able to propel himself to the front of all the riders and win the tour de france stage. Unless your name is Lance.
If you are in the middle of the desert dehydrated ready do to die, and suddenly you find a cactus and suck the a few drops of water out of it.. I don't think that would give anyone the mental strength to make it to civilization.
When I watched a replay of the race, I didn't get a feel that Bekele was barely hanging on when the move was made at 30k. To me it appeared as if he was just biding time and just slowly reeling in Kipsang. Remember Bekele is a savvy racer. He is the guy who duped Mo into picking up the pace, as Bekele wanted, by falling back just a tad at the Great North Run.
The drink is a new product to be made available in 2017. It apparently is able to deliver a higher dose of carbohydrate than current sports drinks:
