Alexi isn't an elite runner, she got trounced at Euros representing Greece, as in dfl.

lol it sure must make you mad to see that she's probably one of the most well-known current distance runners, and to circles outside of distance running

Pappas is much worse as an actor/director/poet than she is as a runner. She is DFL in average to good competition on the track, and less than your average preteen with an iphone at making films.
That was a better effort than Wheating put in the Trials 1500 final.

Bernie Madoff is one of the best known "investors." She is as much a fraud at her artistic attempts as Madoff is at investing.

Less than divided by three? You are learning some weird math in your summer school makeup classes.
Pappas is to acting and directing as the Brosjo are to grammar and spelling.
I am waiting for the "Documentary Now" version.
What does the he
Lol she is barely known within track circles and virtually unknown outside.

Yet she is the one going to the Olympics and you are not. Weird how those things work, isn't it ya nut!

Little recognized fact by LRC trolls: The vast majority of Olympians get trounced; they fail to take home a medal.
Wow, that was a crappy little film. Plagiaristic and narcissistic.
Pappas needs to:
1) Come up with some original ideas.
2) Find someone who can act.
3) Find someone who can direct.
She has the PR and hype machinery nailed, now she just needs some talent.
I do wonder how she got the NY Times to even mention these shorts.
Speaking of, wouldn't "Running Shorts" be a much better title for this series than "Speed Goggles"?

Also did you know if you type it out with spaces, it disappears.
Didn't know that, and out of politeness I won't admit what I thought the "
Speed Goggles was even worse than Tracktown. Two thumbs down for both of those pieces of garbage.
This chick really is trying too hard to be "edgy." Do we really need to see her relieving herself twice in a two minute film? Is that what they teach at eugene clown kollege film skool to cover up a lack of talent?

Don't make fun of my broken heart.

Agreed. I think this is a very awesome short film series. I really enjoyed Her and Jermey's retro view on the camera style and narration. It's suppose to be a parody video of sorts and I think they hit the nail on the head.
Great takes, good directing. As a film guy, really appreciated this.
Someone gets it.
The rest of the whiny bunch in here has clearly not read the article.
Check yourself: If you used the singular of film/movie/... you're reading comprehension challenged

+1.
It was an easy joke. We can give her a pass for taking the low hanging fruit once, but twice is just being lazy, especially when it shouldn't be hard to keep ideas flowing for 2 minutes.
In other news, Wheating is a pretty bad physical actor, nobody has covered that yet. Pappas isn't the worst physical actor (although isn't exactly transcendent herself).
