He ran a 60:30 half marathon in 2011 without even doing HM-specific training, beating Meb, Abdi, and Hall by a staggering 2+ minutes. Mind you, this was during Hall's lead-up to Boston, where he went on to run 2:04. You're crazy if you don't think Rupp can eventually run 2:03.
2:03? For a white guy on a records eligible course?
I'll bet you right now even money whatever amount you want to bet. Seroiusly, any amount. 10 million. I'd do it. If we get up to more than say $50,000, I'll get investors.
Do you realize that a non-African born runner has never ever broken 2:06 in the history of the world? The fastest non-Africa born time in history belongs to Ronaldo da Costa who ran 2:06:05. Toshinari Takaoka ran 2:06:16 and Ryan Hall 2:06:17.

My only requirement is that there is doping control. If we bet more than $100,000 and Rupp runs 2:03, the bet is off unless Rupp accepts my $50,000 payment to store a blood urine sample for 10 years after the fact.
