I'll gladly answer that.Unlike 99% of this board, I truly don't believe that he's done. Why he's had trouble the last few years, I don't know. I assume he's training and training hard. Unless he's injured, which I hadn't heard, I assume that he very capable of a sub 47. I've run 50:13 for ten miles in Michigan. He's WAY better than me, hence my belief that even in the middle of intense training, he could pull off something in "that range". I was wrong and I admitted it, which is something rare on this board, but go ahead and rip me apart for not being knowledgeable in a sport that I take quite seriously. No one can get them all right.

I'm really curious - what made you think he was even remotely capable of running sub 47?
I mean that prediction is so far off what he has done the past few years. You might as well have said he is going to run 40 minutes and set a world best for 10 miles.
