I think I'd enjoy watching Zombie Prefontaine tear it up the track this year.

Wejo makes comeback, winning 5K in 17:49 last weekend!

Peter Forsberg and Jason Giambi.
But actually; Gabe Jennings, Kenenisa Bekele (to top, or close to top form), Chris Solinsky, and of course CRAIG MOTTRAM.
Anthony Famiglietti I know many people on here are annoyed by him but he is what distance running needs. He is not afraid to lose and he doesnt give a crap about what people think of him. He would for sure stop all of these damn tactical races.

Almost all comeback attempts seem to end in disaster, because the athletes try to make it all the way back to elite status over 9-12 months. I would like to see Josh take a slow and steady 3-4 year comeback (preferably with training updates). No hero workouts, no stressing over times or finish position while building back, and no outside coaching. Just run by feel everyday and let the fitness comeback slowly through consistent and sustainable training.
I'm always waiting to see a random result of a road race or something where Josh runs 14:20 or so, sparking what you write of.
Like that Toronto 5000m in 2009 where he ran 14:29. Yeah it was slow, but he raced again!
I remember I won some low-key road race once a few years ago. I was looking through the results and saw "John Doe" (not the guy's real name) in like 40th place in 18-something. John Doe had been a pretty good runner from my area - two time footlocker finalist and mult-time state champ in high school, then conference champ and All-American in college. I thought, is that THAT John Doe? Sure enough it was; he had had a catastrophic injury and was just getting back into running.

1. Abubaker Kaki - what happened to him?
2. Deresse Mekonnen - he was the best ethiopian miler along with gebremehdin up until 2011 where he hurt his foot and hasn't had a season's best since.
3. Jeff Riseley - he's been a great middle distance runner, but I haven't really seen him this year.
4. Medhi Baala - is he retired?
5. Boaz Lalang - he's a 1:42 guy but hasn't broken 1:48 this year...what? haha.
