Good finish? Didnt he fall back?

SO great to see Derrick win it. He was one of the greatest guys to never win an NCAA title and now he's a USA XC title.
Derrick wins! Derrick wins! Then Ritz, Teg, Heath, True, Vail. Then Mack and Puskedra.
Passing of the torch race. Teg and Ritz will never beat Derrick again
CHRIS MF DERRICK
1. Chris Derrick
2. Dathan Ritzenhein
3. Matt Tegenkamp
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
Awesome kick by Elliot Heath. Big things to come from the Schumacher group this year.
Was I the only one disappointed with the coverage today?
CD Plans to run worlds!

Uh No
Derrick
Ritz
Teg
Heath
True
Vail
Mack
Puskedra
You can bet six of these guys will comprise the Team USA mens roster, even if guys like Ritz and Teg decide not to run.
The coverage was horrible and the idiot announcers not only got half a donzen names wrong, but they were shocked that Chris Derrick, a 27:30s guy and what 13:19 or faster indoors won! Really, he was top 10 in Cross 4 years in college, Teg nor Ritz can say that, so if Running Space wants to do this piss poor job, atleast get educated commenators who do not sound like 14 year old who just started following the sport!

Ritz will win. I don't know why they're doubting him when he's been in a lot greater fitness than all these other guys.
You sure about that now are you?

Ritz should not lose a 12k to derrick... not a good race
You my friend are underestimating Derrick. He is better than Ritz right now at any distance short of the marathon.

Yes! Finally someone who gets it.
To so many of the rest of you folks - stop living in the past.
Prediction: of those top names, half will not bother going to Worlds.
props to Deena for making the team at age 39 - I'm glad to see that.
Have you made the team if you don't accept a spot?

To be honest, with all the foreign runners in NCAA and many of the best US guys focusing on indoor or sprig marathons, it is almost easier to win US XC than NCAA XC.
