Is this true? They get a flying start? I thought it was just handtimed from a standing start. A flying start makes a monstrous difference. Im not sure thats right is it?

Also this fool needs to worry more about beating Jeter in the 40 than Bolt lol.
the lazar start is not the published time! The finish is auto timed but the start is still hand timed by two individuals, and also a hand movement start using lazars, but the hand movement start is only a check, its not what they release to the public.

No guessing required. Robinson has run the collegiate indoor 60 with a PR of 6.81. That would not even come close to making the final at the NCAA meet. The WR is almost half a second faster, 6.36.
A gap of 0.45 is huge, even in the 100. Compare a 9.9 (world class) to a 10.35 (hundreds of college runners). Or take the difference in speed, which translates into a gap of 0.75 for a 100. 10.65 is a good but unremarkable high school sprinter.
Denard would probably beat the WOMEN'S medalists most of the time in a 100... but he's delusional about being fast for a man.
^^^ Yes ^^^
What a loser. I guess he would do it in unlaced cleats as well.

And Bolt split the 60m in 6.27 in Berlin on his way to the 100m WR
I find it funny listening to the people say Bolt is not a great starter. The other guys he was racing against in the 100m final were the fastest in the world. Bolt was in 2nd by 40m. Only Blake and Gatlin were with him. "Not a great starter"? Who are you kidding?
Not a chance in hell. Look up Bolts splits in his WR at 30m
FANTASTIC YEAR YOU ARE HAVING THIS YEAR DENARD!!! YOU LOOK SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAST!!! GOOD THING YOUR LEGS MAKE UP FOR THE FACT YOU MAKE WORSE DECISIONS AND THROW WORSE THAN A BAD DIII QB!

Well if you look at the scientific breakdowns of Bolts race. He goes through 40 yards in 4.35 seconds. Robinson has gone 4.32 in the 40. So it would be close. But if it was head to head I still do not think Robinson would have fast enough reaction time.
Football players go off their first movement, bolt goes off gun.
Now Chris Johnson on the other hand.. Would smoke his ass in a 40 yard dash but get ran down by 50.
uh, no. Bolt's 4.35 is FAT while Robinson's 4.32 was done with hand timing. If the hand-timing was strict, that would be a difference of 0.2 and if it was a generous coach then possibly 0.3 difference. So basically, Robinson can do a 4.5 or 4.6 FAT to Bolt's 4.35 or you could say Bolt could do a 4.15 hand timed compared to Robinson's 4.32.
That along with the significant difference b/w their 60m time tells me Robinson doesn't have a chance unless Bolt slipped coming out of the blocks or something like that, even in the 40.
