Zat0pek,
Best explanation ever on Webb. "Half a decade"- most of these Webb fanatics gloss over that.

Wow, I can't believe anyone seriously believes Webb isn't in shape to get the A standard right now. The 5000 was clearly a workout after running a hard 1500 less than an hour before.
Webb may be in shape to get the A standard for the trials 13:33, but I wouldn't bet my house on it. However he has shown nothing that indicates that he is in shape enough to get the A standard for the Olympics, which is 13;20. If he doesn't get that he is not going to the Olympics in the 5000. I sure wouldn't count on getting it at the trials.
'Webb has accomplished more than u will in a lifetime brah.
Stop hating on someone with talent, brah brah. Seriously, it makes you look bitter brah.'
His talent is why we are on his case. We can still imagine that we could run closer to our bests in having the luxury of being pro with back up. Probably injuries that have done him though more than anything though and he's not retired yet
... like me, Alan understands what it is like to quickly regress from his prime.
No faster than 3:38
Zat0pek..please post more. missed the old dyestat days.
good stuff man...

They might just make two randomly selected heats. So both have the potential to be A standard type races. Question: will Teg and Bumbalough beat Rupp and Farah?
I think both beat Rupp, but neither beats Farah. Teg has traditionally had serious speed at the 1500. I know he hasn't shown it lately, but I wouldn't be surprised if he and Bumbalough run 3:36, which would be a modest improvement on Bumbalough's PR. Neither will win either heat.
I think Rupp has about a 3:36 in him as well. Farah, on the other hand - I don't know. 3:35?
Oh, and all four of them will beat Webb, who will probably get pulled to 3:37 high.
Farah has run something like 3:33.9

Wait for the heat sheets. No way the qualified are all running.
