Raffi. I freakin' loved that guy when I was younger. These days I very rarely listen to an album of his the whole way through.

I'm willing to bet that anyone who ever liked The Fat Boys just youtubed them and liked them as much as ever. They set a standard that thousands of hip-hop beatbox bands since have failed to improve upon.
So many better choices: FYC, David Bowie, Tom Tom Club, and most of the other bands mentioned here . . . if you ever liked them.
The Bangles
I agree with those who said 311. I'd like to add Rage Against the Machine and Silverchair.
Another good thread can be "bands you liked in your youth and now realize how good they are"
Newsflash: no one cares that you actually like the band that someone else doesn't like anymore. Please stop defending your favorite bands.
I'm going to add Nickleback. My dad gave me their first album and I remember enjoying it for a while. In my defense I was probably 12.
Toby Keith may be the most pretentious musician Ive ever witnessed. What a crock of b.s.
Yes! TK sucks!
Grand Funk Railroad. I think I'm older than most of the people who've looked at this thread.

Phish

I really shock myself sometimes. I am slightly ashamed to be honest.
Intersting thing though, how some stuff from my youth still holds up really well and sounds great (Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Stone Temple Pilots).
Bush
Wait I never like Toby Keith, I meant Keith Urban
